Rams waived QB Brandon Allen.

For the second-straight year, Allen could not convince the Rams to carry three quarterbacks. The 2016 sixth-rounder will try to carve out another spot on the practice squad. Blake Bortles is backing up Jared Goff.

Cardinals waived WR Chad Williams.

The No. 98 overall pick of the 2017 draft, Williams could never break through in Arizona. He couldn't get on the field for Bruce Arians in 2017 and made no impact in last year's moribund offense. Going on 25, Williams entered the league as an exceptional athlete with strong college numbers, but there has been zero indication he's about to turn the corner. Someone's practice squad might be the best he can do for 2019.

Ravens released DT Willie Henry.

The fourth-year defensive tackle couldn't make it out of camp with Baltimore. Hernia surgery and a back injury cost Henry the bulk of last season. He's collected 36 tackles and 4.5 sacks over 17 NFL games including three starts for Baltimore.

Really surprised me on Rosen....he must have gotten really fractured mentally in Zona.....

Could always end up with Miami having the number one pick next year, and Rosen again being traded after being replaced in the draft.

  • Dolphins released WR Brice Butler.

Butler saw heavy snaps during the preseason but didn't make the most of it, managing a tepid 7-69-0 receiving line with one drop on 11 targets. Blessed with 4.42 wheels, Butler has the makeup of a vertical threat, though the 2013 seventh-rounder has spent the bulk of his career as a scarcely-used backup.

A Panthers reserve since entering the league as the No. 174 overall pick in 2015, Artis-Payne has never notched more than 45 carries in a season. That high-water mark came his rookie year. "CAP" has never put anything on film to suggest he's more than a replacement-level back. He had multiple opportunities to earn a bigger role in Carolina and never did so. 2019 is his age-29 campaign.

CAP is a J.A.G.

Has anybody heard anything on Bryant's "tryout" today at noon?  It has been a couple of hours now-surely somebody peeked through a shrub or something?

DLed is still holed up waiting for Rex Ryan. He said there’s no sign of Bryant yet either.

Kinda feel bad for Rosen. Went from perhaps the least talented team in 2018 to the least talented team in 2019. Terrible situation after another.

Really confused how Iloka is bouncing around. Was a baller in Cincy. Now can't find work. Crazy. If he came cheap, wonder if they'd consider him for the role they wanted for Wilcox.

Saints released RB Jacquizz Rodgers.

The veteran receiving back was always a long shot to crack the final 53. The 5'6," 205-pound bowling ball racked up 410 yards from scrimmage with one touchdown on 71 touches as a Buccaneer in 2018. Rodgers will look to catch on elsewhere as backfield depth.

Browns traded rookie QB David Blough to the Lions in exchange for a 2022 seventh-round pick swap.

Blough will enter a quarterback room with Matthew Stafford, Tom Savage, and Josh Johnson for the time being. Given the assets that were exchanged, neither team views Blough as more than a weak No. 2 or No. 3 option.

Lions waived WR Jordan Lasley.

The 2018 fifth-rounder has been waived and signed a handful of times this summer, so he's likely going to be a practice squad player from this point forward.

Raiders waived/injured DT Eddie Vanderdoes.

Raiders released DT Gabe Wright.

That's the thing. We have a small amount of cap right now.

We may not be able to sign Bryant until Julio gets done in order to make sure we also can get any available player who was cut by teams by tomorrow.

Just a thought...

He doesn't realize teams won't trade for a players that they're 100% certain your going to cut.

Heck, the Pats have been trading picks FOR OL...

Any narrative that fits their troll..
