Atlanta Falcons Watermark Logo

As a watermark the newer one is better as it can more easily blend and scale.  It is also much cheaper to print while communicating the same info and branding.  I'm not necessarily a fan of it but just saying that it makes sense visually and financially.

Can you give us here an alternative design?

I could give it a shot but it isn’t my strong suit. I haven’t worked on any typography or custom fonts as of yet. I’ve primarily been doing isometric & pixel art, and magazine arrangement.

My favorite. Reminds me of my childhood in the 80s!

Wordmark, not watermark.

Wordmarks are type-based logos used for product branding. Example...

script-logo-examples-wordmarks.png

Watermarks are typically placed on various forms of media to show ownership and discourage any unauthorized reproduction (or counterfeiting when dealing with currency).

For example, Getty Images is notorious for their annoying watermark, but it largely prevents people from re-using their photos without buying them.

And since I'm here...
