Looking at the numbers for Markakis to see what a well rested Nick would mean and its uncanny. I'm not sure if he'll have time to get his timing back, depends on when he returns. Check out these career numbers though.

1st half: .288/.359/.417

2nd half: .289/.358/.434

Talk about a consistent hitter.

He was pretty well rested the start the season and ended up with a WAR barely above replacement level.

He hit .330/.405/.476 in 103 April ABs. He just had a bad May at .221. June was back up to .270 and July was .324 in the 18 games before the injury.

I'm dying to see how Acuna responds...They may have just released the beast!

MVP!

Hope so.

We've seen guys get benched for not hustling and then ball out.

Okay I'm pretty sure Snitker and Acuna are still cool lol.

If only they threw this dude out like they did Gausman

Consistency?

When it comes to officiating?

ha

I don't remember which announcer said it, but if you think they deserved a warning, why not throw him out? There is history there and it's not consistent with what they did with Gausman lol

You don’t issue a warning before we get a chance at retaliation..
