falcons007
Running Backs: Freeman looked fresh and sharp running and catching passes. Welcome back #24. Brian Hill finally seems to have turned it around and probably closer to win the third RB spot. Kenjon Barner has some good returns in punt practices. He had couple of good runs. Can he make the roster as return man? Ollison mostly played with 3rd and second team, he dropped tough passes. He needs to catch passes if he wants to win a roster spot. Its gonna be tough cutting the RB this year. FB: Ortiz wasn’t that impressive, Stocker looked better and caught a pass coming out of FB position. Falcons might be better off using that FB spot to carry an extra TE/ RB. TE: Hooper looked ready for the season, in sync with Ryan. Paulson and Stocker got some first team reps, if Falcons will have big guys if they go 3 TE with Hoops, Paulson and stocker or Stocker at FB. Saubert was mostly 2nd and 3rd team reps. WR: This will be another position which may be tough to cut players. Blake, zaccheus, Gage looked fast and made some tough catches. The final 2-3 WR spots might be tough if these guys continue to make plays. OL: Lindstorm looked much more polished than I expected. He will take some lumps as rookie but he should handle the RG better than what we had last 2-3 years. Miller played Center on first team sharing reps with Alex Mack. QB: Ryan looks dorky in warm up dance. FalconsIn2012, V-Town Falcon, theProf and 8 others

Ergo Proxy
Nice summary. Ortiz is a goner. 4th TE or 4th/5th(?) RB is gonna happen. WR is a tough decision, too. I think Hardy is gone and we keep 2 out of 3 between Gray/Zaccheaus/Blake. Gage is a lock. Flyin' In DC, octoslash and Cole World
NWFALCON
How did the DBs look? With you saying WRs made tough catches, I assume coverage was decent.

Gives us 2 years to get a real DiMarco replacement if we choose to go back to a dedicated FB. Hill or Ollison could possibly fill the role at times instead of Stocker as well. falcons007

I can see Ollison at FB. He is a big dude for RB. If Hill continues playing well, he can be more productive at RB Ergo Proxy, ATLSlobberKnockers, FalconsIn2012 and 1 other

Ezekiel 25:17
Most the “tough” cuts that were mentioned for RB, TE and WR will come down to Special Teams aa those guys will be playing there mostly, pending injuries. papachaz, falcons007, Vandy and 1 other
