My sources tell me that the Chiefs are putting together a package to trade for Benkert. Word is that it will include Maholmes, Kelce, and multiple first round picks. Still not sure if that is enough.

Wed be crazy to accept that. We should hold out for more and tell them pound sand if they don’t like it.

Well... the good news is, Schaub will get a chance to prove his worth the next two games!

Bad news is our offense will be lucky to score a point the next 2 games.

I haven’t seen Schaub complete a meaningful pass in 5 preseasons. He plays with no kind of competitiveness and looks like he doesn’t belong out there with backups. I’ve been waiting for flashes and there haven’t been any. He is a film room asset only

If I'm Arthur Blank

I DONT LET MATT SCHAUB BACK IN ATLANTA AFTER THIS CLOWN SHOW!

It is amazing how different the offense looks with him out there.

I would “like” to beg to differ.

That’s what I would “like” to say, but...

He needs to announce his retirement before he gets hurt out there.

Does Schaub have anything to play for in this game?  Benkert is playing for his career, Schaub's career is essentially over.  Benkert is willing to take risks, including possibly getting hurt, to prove his value, but Schaub has no reason to risk a personal injury.  Schaub will get paid this year even if the Falcons did cut him, but Benkert will barely get paid anything and be looking for a job.
