It’s not likely to be repaired unless they take the extra steps to look into autonomic causes. It’s sad but true. I like the guy, but I wouldn’t have drafted him. Hopefully, the best doctors get this right with the latest science behind what to target during surgery. If it improves his condition at all, could he still play in the league? Is it career threatening right now or precautionary their current move? He cleared medically entering the Draft. You’d think it was a cleanup move at this point not a retry all over. Williamb
It probably wont be as long as most think. Most common arrhythmia with wpw is actually psvt (paroxysmal supraventricular tacchycardia) not a-fib. Ablation is a procedure where the irritable area of the heart is stimulated to reproduce the arrythmia so that that area can then be burned or killed with rf (radio frequency) waves. Recovery time is minimal. Not always successful. Ergo Proxy and duckhoa
Ergo Proxy
Dude was cleared by doctors for the draft right? Seems precautionary and efficiency of his longterm health outlook rather than career threatening at this point. octoslash
Williamb
I came in late to this conversation, read the first 4 pages then skipped to th end to give my 2 cents. Here is one from draft network I wouldn't put too much stock into numbers like that. They are almost always just quoted from the same original story. Snafu
Hope it all works out for him and he can have a long productive career going forward. Really wanted him to unseat Ty this year, but it's not looking likely at all now is it?
stizz
Listen man I think everyone hopes the best for Kaleb, and trading up for a RT was absolutely necessary, but one with a heart condition was a decision TD had to be positive of. Reminds me of Sam Baker having 3 back surgeries in 5 years. Not ideal. zekeyboy1, Malachore and MAD597
