We always seem to have a hard time playing in San Diego. Hopefully it goes better this go around.

Yep, I believe the Braves are 3-16 at Petco over the last 6 seasons. They lost 2 of 3 there last year.

Atleast we have Keuchel and Soroka pitching 2 of the 3. That makes our chances of winnng the series pretty good.

Hopefully both Foulty and Gausman get everything figured out before September and can help this team. Or show enough in the minors that they got things figured out to be good trade pieces before the deadline

If we can at least take 2/3, and have the Nats and Phils go 2/3 some how, this weekend would be a success. Even better would be a sweep by us, and Philly/WAS go 2/3. At worst we are 7 games up in that case

Braves will activate Swarzak before the game.

And in a corresponding move, Grant Dayton out at least a month with a broken toe.

Well they play each other, so the first part isn’t possible.

Hopefully Riley can adjust to that pitch and get going again

Hopefully so. The homruns make it easier to deal with. But his average just keeps dropping.

You never think about important a toe is until one of your toes break, get stubbed  or injured in anyway.

Toe injuries absolutely suck

Petco Park has been a House of Horrors for the Braves in recent years. Time to reverse that in this series!

Just ask Deion.

Edit: Voice text makes me look like I can't spell.

Just as Deon.

That basically ended Deion's career!! He tried to come back with the Ravens but he just didn't have it anymore because he couldn't run because of his toe.
