Xavier Rhodes says Julio tips off the defense

Got to give Rhodes credit for his smarts. He's one of the best right now.

But Julio could tell him at the line of scrimmage what route he was running and Rhodes' chance of stopping him is still slim to none.

Not really.  If Rhodes were so smart, he would've said something like, "Naw, Julio has absolutely no tells; one of the best in the game at covering up the play..." instead of giving away what could be game changing vital information like that.  You'd never see a professional poker player say, "Yeah, when Jack has a good hand he pushes his glasses up a little..."

Everyone has tells. It's just natural. If anything I'm glad this came out because Julio can use it against players.

He retired Nnamdi on this play right here...

Funny, I have said the exact same thing since that game.  When Julio just ran right around Nnamdi and he couldn't do anything about it, he knew his days were numbered.

Lol. Julio has literally gotten corners and coaches cut/fired. Sure, Rhodes has him figured out though.

Well...tbf...Rhodes is the guy who has gotten the best of Julio out of all the Cbs the last few years

I've always liked Mike Zimmer. Wish we had kept him within the organization. Dude is gonna build a stout defense wherever he's at.

Why hasn't he done it? They're good but should be elite with all that talent.

They were a top 5 or 6 defense last year. Same with all the years he was in Cincy.

I’m probably in the minority when I say this but I don’t like the fact of my #1 WR tipping his hand rather he’s “unstoppable or not” .. which is obnoxious fan talk anyway because no WR is “unstoppable” so to speak . The less you tip the better it is for the team as a whole .

When you single cover a guy...Tampa...cough cough....and he goes off for 300 yards, I’d say he’s “unstoppable”.....so to speak

Wish we had drafted Xavier, instead of Trufant.

That was the Smith/Dimitroff pre-Pioli regime.

Pre-injury Tru was just as good

I wanted us to draft him too.  Looking forward to the post-Dimitroff regime.
