FalconsIn2012
Quinn and Belichick have overseen some special defenses. It’s slow so let’s play a little trivia. Which coach oversaw these defenses and what team were they on. And which in your mind was the best year of these 4 1. 11 ppg 38 sacks, 31 TO - 94’ Browns 2. 12 ppg, 30 sacks, 34 TO - 90’ Giants 3. 14.4 ppg, 44 sacks, 39 TO - 13’ Hawks 4. 15.8 ppg, 37 sacks, 24 TO - 14’ Hawks That Browns defense was a surprise. But when Belichick is your HC, Saban is your DC & Ozzie Newsome, Pioli, Dimitroff & Lombardi are in the FO, good things happen gazoo and Vandy
ATLSlobberKnockers
Guessing 2 was DQ in.Seattle. #3 was B.B. In New York during the 80s?
FalconFan13
Im guessing #4 was Quinn for the Seahawks in 2014 when they went 12-4 FalconsIn2012
Faithful Falcon
#4 was the Patriots team that we lost to in the Super Bowl.

It’s kind of a trick question. The bottom 2 are Seattle. #1 is the tough one

gazoo
Yep, some here still don't realize how brilliant DQ is in putting together game plans. He's right there with BB IMO. It's a really big deal DQ has 2 former head coaches in Keotter and Mularky, and an OC for decades in Knapp here. DQ can totally turn the offense over and focus on the defense. Come division games and playoffs it makes a huge difference. FalconsIn2012

ATLSlobberKnockers
Good thread. Gotta go with the.94 Browns as the best of the 4 Crazy how close the Brow ns came to being good for a long time Edited July 9, 2019 by ATLSlobberKnockers Shelley#37 and FalconsIn2012

I’ll be honest, they are a blank in my memory. Just don’t remember them being that dominant. I know that’s the year Saban & Belichick created the now famous Pattern Match Cover 3. Would have killed to be a fly on the wall as they spent many a late night putting it together

Coach Quinn and the defense, Coach Koetter/Mularkey/Morris/Knapp & the Offense gazoo
