Falcons one the sleeper teams?

Recommended Posts

If anyone looks at this roster and doesn’t see a lurking giant, they should not be paid to discuss football.

Last year at this time we were the sexy pick to win the SB.  This roster with the upgrades at all 3 Coordinator positions is better than a year ago.

Just can’t classify us as a sleeper

I would say, the OL upgrades will make the biggest difference this year.

That and staying healthy, will make our coaches a lot better just by default.

They probably look at us as a wild card team that's not as good as the Saints, Rams, Eagles etc.

This team isn't sleeping on me, we are legitimate Super Bowl contenders going into the season. I said this after the draft.  Now, we need some things to roll our way, just like all the other Super Bowl contenders need going into training camp, but at this point we have all the components.

We were last year, the year before that  and the year before that as well.

This is a well constructed roster.  Remain healthy and you better bring your A game to beat us

very true, last year we had the starters, we didn't have the depth though, and I think they realized they needed to beef that depth up. Still, any team gets injured in certain places they can be in trouble. No team has perfect depth, there are always shallow areas, luck plays a role.
