Falcons Fan MVP
In my opinion the Falcons have one of the best front offices in the NFL. You could make an argument we have the best front office in the NFL because in my opinion we have more talent than the Patriots. Our head coaches have been good but not great over the last 10 years but I think our front office is among the best if not the best. I definitely think our front office is better than the Saints and the Panthers. How would you rank our front office compared to the other teams in the NFL? Which teams if any do you think has a better front office than we do? gazoo, Drew4719, Vandy and 1 other
Vandy
I tend to agree with you, I think we have been one of top 5 run organizations in nfl for at least a decade now. Besides Pats, ravens were always top notch under Ozzie. Then in no particular order, Eagles, Seahawks, and falcons. Browns are doing a lot of good things on paper, but too soon to say they are a top run organization. Atl Falcon
I’d say definitely top 5 however it remains to been seen if we can carry on without Scott Pioli. Something changed when Pioli and DQ got here with acquiring better players. If we go 7-9 again -which if healthy- I don’t think will happen....AB won’t be happy. This is a SB caliber team. I do hope TD can carry on and do even better....but it’s a fact the OL and DL plus the defense has been a problem a good bit of the time during his GM ship. When you get this close the job should be completed. I’m not sure the final pieces can be added by this FO. Time will tell.

JD dirtybird21
I think the Falcons are probably top 7. But not the 2nd best. Too many losing seasons to be called the 2nd best. PokerSteve, duckhoa and GeorgiaBoyz

Our offense is set and Dan Quinn is a defensive mastermind so the D should be okay. Cheap Talk

octoslash
No. We are currently sitting at 4.627 out of 32. That's not bad but there's always room for CPI, continuous process improvement.

kiwifalcon
72,104,150 and significant cap hits from the MV7 debarcle I would say puts our FO right up there with the best. Off the bat doing the numbers and building the team I’d say 2. Picking talent in the top 10 for sure over the last decade. In a salary capped league with Ryan playing near the top of the rookie scale and near the top in salary for a QB there after I’d as above say TD and co have built a nice team considering and not many others can claim that. AB also one of thee better owners in the NFL. rounz and PokerSteve

I would also put ravens and Seahawks ahead of us if looking over a longer block of time. Disagree on Steelers, they’ve become a very dysfunctional organization over the past few seasons. If anything, I think they are one of the more overrated organizations in NFL as to how they are being run both internally and externally, along with Denver. vel and Falconsfan567
duckhoa
No SB, despite having a QB talented enough to win a SB. No dominant defense despite hiring defensive coaches, and high draft picks on D. I like and root for my team.....but am not blind to their warts. Hope that changes this year, and the front office gets to elite level. OP asked if the falcons are the 2nd best run organization, right? I said no. As for the Steelers, I get that they appear to be dysfunctional. But the reality is, they’ve won a super bowl since Ryan was drafted and have been to another. They also make the playoffs virtually every year. They are definitely successful. Dysfunctional? Perhaps. Successful? Definitely Atl Falcon, Vandy and duckhoa

Like I said, if we hadn’t blown SB 51 (and should have been there at SB 47 as well) we’d be right behind Pats. But yeah, shoulda coulda woulda.... GeorgiaBoyz
Nope .. 7-10. NE, Philly, Baltimore, Seattle, Kansas City, New Orleans, Dallas . Being 7–10 isn’t bad . I’d place us higher if not for 28-3, lack of depth, trench neglect all these years & the way we handled this Vic Beasley situation . NeonDeion
#1 front office - Rings are a huge amount of luck (unless you are BB) Give this team to BB and how many rings you think he wins? I would say a bunch. Edited June 21, 2019 by NeonDeion Falcons Fan MVP
