Is he a viable option for the Hawks at 17?  I know very little about this guy but keep seeing his name pop up.  If the Hawks don't move that pick at 17, would he still be there on the board?

Lol. Wow...

Ball movement is one of the reasons i don't want barrett either.

You love him on defense.  7’2 inch wingspan is huge.  Great frame.

Per 40 minutes he averaged 21 ppg and 10.5 rpg.  Shot 77% from the line.  But he has loose handles and a noticeable hiccup in his shot.  NBA defenders will eat that up.

He needed to stay in school 2 more years to work in mechanics of his shot and build confidence.

The NBA may swallow up Little and spit him out.  Where I used to prefer Little over Reddish, now it’s completely opposite.  After Culver, Reddish is my pick if possible.  If we could swing Culver and either Reddish or Bruno, would do the worm.  Then take Thybulle as a defensive stopper in Rd 2 and you’re done

He's blessed. Three years later and he'd jump right into the Association out of high school and some team would make a huge mistake because the kid who showed up in Chapel Hill last season wouldn't be close to ready. UNC had too many people in front of him to give him the minutes needed to develop. I like his long-term prospects on a team that will give him time to grow but if I was the Hawks, I'd avoid him at 8 or 10 and be very careful at 17. Hawks should honestly trade out of 10 or 17 and get future assets because three young 'uns is going to be too many on such an already young squad.
