stizz
It's wild that Bosher is an average punter making 3M. Quinn brings in competition at every position and yet Bosher has an easy ride because he can hold a FG kick. shock
If Sanu doesn’t retire a Falcon I will be supremely disappointed in this team’s decision making. Shelley#37, putnam6, CaliFalcons and 5 others

1989Fan
I feel sanu could be brought back in a new deal. It may depend what these other receivers do, especially Gage who isn’t getting some hype. Bosher is gone, I would be surprised of any other outcome. Guys like Freeman, Trufant, Campbell are going to depend on how they play this season if they come back. jlrfalcon
Bosher will be fearing any injuries that would prompt the Falcons to bring in a young punter for a week or two. If that young punter has any success, the Falcons will keep him around like they did with Tavecchio last year to give him Bryant's job this year. As for Sanu, it will come down to him making a choice between money or familiar surroundings. It is essentially the same situation as Markakis with the Braves who accepted less money but has got to keep his starting RF job. I really hope that recent trends are pushing teams to realize they do not necessarily need to overpay veterans. It is important to have veterans over tons of rookies around on a team but not at 10-20 times more the cost. ATLSlobberKnockers
The Smart One
Bosher could be cut before the season

Your appreciation for Sanu is warranted, but be prepared to be disappointed. He won’t and shouldn’t take a 4 million dollar pay cut, and we gain 7 million in CAP by letting him go next year. Appreciate him while he is here in 2019. One of TD’s best FA signings ATLSlobberKnockers

1989Fan
I recall so many people having a fit and yelling ‘troffed whenever sanu was signed. “He has never been more than a #3 and did little when he got his chance” ”no other team was even after him hard and TD overpaid” MasterBateser
Draftnut57
I guess I'm the only one that thinks we will keep both at least one more year ,, this year and next season. And I sure hope so... To me Bosher is a no brainer.. he'll be here as long as he plays. The FO is to smart to let him go.. And as long as Sanu can perform as well as he has.. We'll not let him go either.. TD is way to smart for that to happen.. if either has a hugh drop off for some reason this season , sure.. but we can't see the future ,, That's why we go by what they have done.. pearljamnash13
Both of them have been great Falcons. However, I'd like to keep Sanu over Bosher after this year. Sanu is a safety blanket with strong hands and a great blocker. I'm sure there is a way to restructure his contract to keep him.
Tribal Chief
Solid punters come a dime a dozen. Love the former Miami player but he can be replaced. Sanu on the other hand, Gage or Hardy will have to prove they can fill his shoes before simply cutting him to save a few million.

We have 14 mill in CAP next year with almost no restructure options outside Matthews. We can’t sign Grady, Debo, Hooper, Dre, 2020 draft class without clearing CAP. Simply not happening
