    • Yes. It's literally in the title of NFCCG. Only technically a championship though

    • Yes. You get a trophy for winning the title, and it's not a participation trophy. The Superbowl is a game played by 2 champions

    • No. If you don't win the SB you haven't won ****e

Do you consider an NFC championship, as a proper championship, or do you feel like it you don't win the SB you haven't won anything?

I personally feel an HTC title is a proper championship, complete with a champions trophy. I hate to say we lost the SB, and prefer to say we won the NFC title. I can't stand the view that losing the SB means we didn't accomplish anything.

Either way let's go take the NFC AND NFL titles this season

I find it odd that whoever wins the SEC is considered to be a champion, despite the outcome of the national championship game. Why do many of those same fans not feel the same way when it comes to NFL?

You’re technically right.  Guess we are division champs too.  But if you don’t win the SB, it’s just another year without a title.

Same for college football.  Saban ain’t counting SEC Championships

Guarantee he would put them on his c.v. And I don't consider division titles as a true championsip. If there isn't a trophy presentation after a game it's not a true championship. This is why I despise the everyone gets a trophy attitude in kids sports.

It should be like an international championship in wrestling. We need to win the big one.

So we are two time Champions, baby!!!  I love it...

Joking aSide, I know what you’re saying. It’s not wrong.  But it’s also not right.

I would ask the question "If you had a NFC Champions T-Shirt, would you wear it?"

I was given won and I have never worn it. If it was a real championship I would proudly wear it, but it feels like a second place to me.

I'm not just saying that as a fan. I was like that as a player too.  I have won a Championship game and lost one in our local league. I don't feel that making the Final and losing it was an accomplishment. I have better memories of playing on bad teams who overachieved and made the playoffs than playing for a good team who lost the big one.

I wear my 2016 NFC Champions hat everywhere. The 28-3 jokes eventually died off.

yep, I have the hat and a shirt, and I wear them out occasionally, how many teams are there that haven't even been to a SB period?

It is a championship - the clue is in the name and in the championship trophy that you get for winning it.

You can argue that It is worth little or nothing if you don’t follow it up with a SB win, but it is still A championship.
