Dude you're my hero. That's what I'm hoping for..... Well I'm really hoping it's nothing and just learn Ryu wear prism glasses

When I talk to others who have it. It's at least the eye being droopy or something worse. And plus the tech who did the emg pin test, told me could not see if anything was there (basically inconclusive)...... I "feel" this eye doctor just doesn't want to work with me. He told me before he thought I had alzhmier (I'm 36 and the cognitive doctors laughed about that). The eye Doctor is with Emory and I love that place. But they may have a bad doctor there...... Plus what doctor just leaves bad news like this on someone's voicemail of, you have it and another doctor will scheduke you an appointment to work on it ".

Not sure, but you seem like you know a thing or two about this.

It's only when I look left that I see double. And my right eye jumps up more and more as I look further left. But when I look straight and to the right, I see fine and my eyes stay perfectly aligned as they should. Furthermore it's always when I look left, there's never a good or bad day (unless I get really stressed, I notice it.).

do you have any neurological disorder? Seizures, etc?

Youre right it is highly unusual for a.dr to leave ANY news on an answering machine. Its also likely a violatiin of Hippa rights.

Had the brain tumor. And had double vision for a month or two after the surgery in 2000. But it went away. And I've been fine ever since November where I noticed I have double vision looking to the left.

Also I am pretty sure on the hippa. But I'm not going to get a lawyer. Because I want to focus on me and look forward and never look back.

OK so here's an update after taking to some who actuality have it.

I did this ice test. And my eye did not improve..... When it should help your eye.

I did a look up test (Simpson test). Nothing changed........ When it should make your eye lid close.

No this isn't saying I don't have it. But it's very possible I don't.

I will find out from a blood test next Friday and it'll take a week to get the results back.

Also thank you everyone for praying. I feel better in peace of mind.

So its acute and not.something that came.on.slowly? When I hear hooves I think horses, not zebras. It sounds like your "doctor" thinks differently. A GP doesnt have the knowledge to make that diagnosis. He should have left it as a possibility, but if he straight up told you thats what it is then yo need to get another GP. The last thing you want is a GP with tunnel vision.

Thats very promising. Guessing they put you on a benzodiazapine for anxiety? If so, drop one and get some rest. Everything will be o.k.

Do you have a counselor? If you do, have you mentioned your fears to them? Talked to them about the way you're feeling? Have you talked about this to any family members that have your best interests at heart?

Yeah I just found a psychiatrist I liked and told me I'm not needing meds every day.

And she said I have ocd very bad. Not where I want the house cleaned type. But the one who thinks I have to perfect abs I constantly change my hair to get people to like me abs etc etc...... And as anyone knows here. My reputation means a lot to me and I'll flip when someone accuses me wrongfully...... So I might try an every day drug for that. But I'll do it after this blood test.

Also my wife is my rock. I've never been able to tell anyone my fears. Because I fear it'll get stuck in there head, and I never want that feeling to be even on someone I dislike...... However I broke down and told her. And she is there for me.

The fear of how it is. It's a symptom of my ocd.

Already took one and I haven't had a need to fire weeks. But I knew right after I listened to voicemail to take it. Because I knew my mind was about to go in vicious cycle.

Have faith and try and be positive mash. You’d be amazed how much just staying positive can help your body heal. Also try eating differently. I don’t know how you eat but cutting out certain foods that don’t do a body good can make a difference as well. It’s hard work but something as serious as this I believe you’d consider. Thoughts to you. I have faith all will work out for you. Don’t just sit there and take it. Do your part to fight brother.

MF, first of all, I want you to know that I don't pray much, but I certainly will for you tonight.

Secondly, I am appalled that a doctor would leave such a message, instead of seeing you face to face.  You need confirmation of this diagnosis.  Go to a neurologist.

The EMG test is very sensitive for MG but is not specific.  You can try some rudimentary physical tests, but it is best that you see a specialist that knows what he/she is doing.  One such test is to have someone hold resistance (wrist/forearm) while you repeatedly flex your elbow (like doing biceps work out).  MG typically causes an increased weakness when the exercise is repeated.  Again, this is a rudimentary test.

The fact that your eyelids do not droop is kinda weird for MG, so once again, see a specialist.

I hope you are OK.

Some here know what's going on. And I just listened to a my voicemail a doctor call me with terrible news last week. I have no clue if I have 3 years before this starts to get bad or not. I'm seeing a specialist Friday for myasthenia agravis.

Hopefully the specialist will tell me this other doctor is just a quack. And then look at me and tell me I don't have this.

I've reached out to people who have it. And it's a snowflake auto immune. 15% it affects the eye only. Others it gets very bad. Some medicine helps a lot, others it's s fishing for which medicine. Some go they remission, some don't.

...... When I was 18ish with a brain tumor I felt I was to young to realize the life/death situation. Because without surgery I would have died within a couple months...... However now I remember what that news was like. Which is crawl under a rock and just cry and hold the Bible.

I'm literally very afraid and scared.

If you know me personaly. Please refrain from calling at the moment. You can text and I'll look at it when I feel like I can.

However if you know anyone who had this or know anything about it. Call me or send a private message and I'll give you my number.

..... The thing that sucks is don't know the truth of the future. And it's causing me to just think the worse.

I cannot say that I have ever been in a situation like this, not am I religious. I can tell you what I would do in this situation though, already what I hope I would do,  considering all of us will run out of time on this earth at one point.

Here is what I would hopefully be able to do,  if I was in a similar situation:

1) Starting now, plan as if there is no tomorrow. Spend every second of every day telling your loved ones how special they are, and how much they mean to you. Spend as much time with them as well, because tomorrow could be anyone's last day,  theirs included.

2) Mend any relationships that may have ended,  that you wish hadn't,  or wish had ended on better terms. Peace of mind is something that can do wonders,  no matter the situation.

3) Let go of any hate in you. That Amy be easier said than done, part of you I'm sure is very angry that thus could potentially be happening to you. Do your best to cleanse your soul of negativity and unhappiness, and bathe your soul in love and positivity.

4) Do your best to just live in the now, and 100% forget about the worries of today and tomorrow.

5) Make a list of everything you have ever wanted to do in life, and all the places you've ever wanted to visit, and do one thing each day,  or make progress towards something on the list, everyday.

6) buy some falcons tickets, or season passes if you haven't already. Clearly this tram means slot to all of us,  so just enjoy doing everything you love on a daily basis.

7) Truly live like there is no tomorrow. I don't mean everyday will be extravagant and luxurious ,  but do your best to never lead another day that will lead you to regrets at the end of the day.

8) spend some time with some people who have shortened clocks as well.  Talk to eachother,  and really spend some time with some people that are trying to make the most out of their time as well. IMPORTANT: Ask them(or someone you love) to make a list of things they want to do before their time on earth is done,  and help them/others achieve their wishes as well. It will feel better than crossing things off your list,  because you would be making a powerful impact on another human being,  which I think is the most amazing thing someone can do in this earth.

9) similar to #8, but just do your best to make an lasting impact on other people's lives. We will all run out of time at some point, and do your best to leave a meaningful impact on already one person,  if not many more, so that your presence on this earth will be felt,  even after your gone,  whether that's 5 or 50 years.

10) death is always going to be a scary thing,  but I think if everyone is at peace in their mind,  and have truly rid themselves of any regrets,  than death is far less scary than you would have ever imagined. I think that's why some people are not afraid of death at all. That's because they understand that it is inevitable,  and they are at peace by filling their hearts with love, leaving behind any negative thoughts or emotions,  and doing their best to leave an impact on other people's lives.

When the day comes for everyone on earth , there is only one thing we can take with us to the grave. Not money. Not cars. Not anything physical. The only thing we can 100% take to our graves is the impact, feelings, and memories we have left the people behind us with. The 100% raw emotions and love that others will remember us by. That's why I said making amends and impacting the youth,  or other who may be struggling, will give you most joy. Simply just make a daily goal of helping another human being.

I also wanted to say that I love you,  along with everyone on here. Everyone has good and bad in them,  and love and similar emotions is what I believe the key is to everyone doing their part in making the world a better place. Peace and love sir.
