metatron360
Ryan us extremely mobile inside and out side the pocket. Seeing him throw looks so natural, like it's what you are supposed to do as an NFL qb. I can see why ppl overlook him. He is just so fluid, right amount of luck. I'm gonna be sad when we end up looking for a qb, after he is gone. The throws in traffic are outstanding. The derp throw is on point. He is so consistent. I CAN see him playing till 40 or 42. What a lucky team we are to actually have drafted a great QB in the turmoil we were in NeonDeion, Vandy, ATLSlobberKnockers and 1 other
droopy1592
I think he was the best in the nfl down the middle of the field. Vandy
Drew4719
I constantly hear people saying he’s a statue that can’t move, but he makes as many throws outside the pocket as anyone. He consistently kept plays alive and converted 3rd-and-longs for most of the season last year, but people act like he physically isn’t capable of it lol. During the week 17 game in Tampa I remember the TV broadcast saying he had the highest passer rating for the season on throws outside the pocket. DonDaLuvMaker
Ryan's mobility has to be the most underrated part of his game. But there are times where he does look like a dear in headlights instead of going on the move with his feet.
Hurry_Up_And_Buy
His pocket awareness is much better which helps the mobility. After that last Shannahan year Matt started putting it all together imo
falcons007
2013 and 2014 season was when Ryan started running for his life to make something happen outside the pocket. He is tough cookie and just mobile enough to make throws running for his life. Vandy
Dr Long Shot
Matt has some pretty outstanding pocket awareness, and while he isn't explosive like some other mobile QBs, he isn't a statue like Payton Manning, Philip Rivers, or Eli Manning either. Out of the pure pocket passers, he is easily one of the best runners. Some people made fun of him because he was the slowest player in NFL history to 1000 rushing yards, taking that fact as supporting the notion he isn't a great runner. Well he has more rushing yards than Brett Favre, Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, Tom Brady, and Dan Marino. Matt can run for QB.
