FalconsIn2012
Julio is a bad man. A pimp. I think his only equal in the history of receivers is Jerry Rice. Looking at just receiving yards, Julio averages 97 ypg. That’s #1 by a large margin. It’s 10 ypg more than Megatron and 20 you more than the GOAT, Jerry Rice. @PriMeTiiMe also provided some interesting nuggets. Julio averaged 105.8 YPG in his last 6 seasons. Absolutely ridiculous. To put things into perspective in his 1st two seasons he averaged 74.35 YPG which would be 16th all-time. Not bad for a young guy as the 3rd wheel behind Roddy and Tony G. Then he took over as the #1 and in his last 6 seasons his average of 105.8 is 13 yards more than 2nd place (Odell 92.8) and 19.6 yards more than 3rd place (AB 86.2) So what’s your opinion: will Julio retire as the greatest yards per game receiver of all time? falcons007
I want Julio to match most SB rings for a wide receiver. Julio will end up top 1-2 in few other categories. JDaveG and FalconsIn2012

takeitdown
I sort of hope he doesn't. Or it's close. If he retires early, he'll almost certainly have the highest YPG. But I'd like to see him still around when he's gettin 70-75 yards per game but is still a quality 1B receiver. That'll take down his YPG average, but he still could be a very good football player. caponine
He might , though this league has changed to more of an offensive league with less defense being played. His stats would definitely be up there though, FalconsIn2012

That's not good enough, cause how long did it take him to get a TD last year...we have gotta get him to start showing up at OTA's, so he can get TDs earlier in the year. MilleniumFalcon
Only OBJ can probably surpass Julio. Julio will be averaging 80 ypg or fewer in around 3 seasons or so with Ridley taking over. FalconsIn2012 and caponine

And? if we ever get thier again we will have coaches still. 28-3 is pretty much as bad as the Bills at this point and they never got back I never expect us to have a SB gift wrapped for us again. jlrfalcon
per game #'s are not as great as total #'s - I think he will sign a big contract soon and play out that contract until the last year in which he is older and probably only getting 4-5 receptions, 75 or so yards a game. However, his total yard #'s will be among the greatest.

PriMeTiiMe
When Julio retires no one will care if he won a ring outside of Atlanta fans. Does anyone care if Fitz has not won anything? He got to a SB and lost just like Julio did. TO same thing. Moss same thing. As long as he finishes his career top 5 in receiving yards he will be in the HOF. It is not easy to accumulate 15,000+ receiving yards. As to answer the question, it will depend on how long he sticks around. Father time catches up to everyone eventually even the freaks of nature. Julio has 2-4 more "great" seasons but could probably play far longer if he wanted to at a lower level. I think he will sign 1 last extension this off-season and play that out and retire as a Falcon without playing for any other team. He will finish #2 all-time in receiving yards at around 18-19k and still the holder of most receiving yards per game all-time.
