Falcons Fan MVP
We have a lot of good players and role players on our team going into 2019. My question is which ones of our important players do you think will no longer be a Falcon during the 2020 season? I think the most likely ones are Sanu, Beasley and Clayborn unfortunately. Possibly Freeman if he has injury problems this year. Trufant is another possibility. What do you guys think?
FalconsIn2012
Freeman - saves 3 million Sanu - saves 6 million Mack (hope not true) - saves 8 million Hooper (hope not true) Devondre Campbell Beasley Clayborn Crawford (hope I’m wrong) Ty - saves 2 million Luke Stocker - saves 3 million. Was TD high? Schaub - saves 2 million This is a surgical amputation of very valuable veteran pieces of our offense. It’s not the direction I would go, either. But it does save us 24 million, giving us around 40 million to work with to sign Grady, Julio, Debo, & Neal I would keep Mack if at all feasible PokerSteve

ATL_666
Hopefully Trufant. We could get someone to do what he does on the field for a lot less money.

duckhoa
Of our core players: most likely Grady and Vic. DT's are easier to replace than DE. Grady is pricing himself out of ATL. I expect Vic to be too expensive, after he balls out this year.

If he gives us anywhere near 2016/2016, we keep him because we don't need to spend more money on another back if one of the other backs on our roster doesn't pull away from the rest, I am hopeful for Ollison, but gotta wait and see. Sanu is a good candidate to get cut, but unless we REALY have to I don't see a reason to cut him when you get a legit 1a receiver in the form of your number three, and depth after him doesn't inspire me we would get the same production if we let him go. Mack is dependent on his health and urge to play, Hooper would depend on his demand for a contract, Campbell and Beasley IMO would be based on if we found replacements or cash to spend, Clayborn, could always come back at a decent rate, Ty looks to be gone due to his most likely not landing a spot, could even be gone THIS year. I feel Stockerif he can double as a FB and TE to go along with his ST usage would be a great asset, and Schaub already has one foot out the door. Just based on this list, I truly feel Schaub, Ty, Campbell, Beasley are more than likely gone, while Mack will play until he's done, and the rest will be kept at current contracts or reworked. Although I could see us flipping a coin on Beasley and Campbell if one is willing to take a paycut. FalconsIn2012

We aren’t cutting players due to lack of production. It’s sinply to clear room to sign our younger players. I’d love to keep all of them. It’s simply not plausible. My guess is $20,000,000 has to be cut from our CAP. Pick your poison on how best to accomplish it
