Sure Bernie, show us how it's done...

Democrat presidential candidate Bernie Sanders announced this weekend he will cut staffers' hours so that they can effectively be paid a $15-an-hour minimum wage, prompting mockery from critics who say the move is more evidence that Sanders' plan to raise the national minimum wage is hypocritical and would only lead to less work and more unemployment.

The Washington Post first reported last Thursday that Sanders' field staffers were upset that Sanders championed a $15 minimum wage on the campaign trail, and made headlines for railing against major corporations who pay "starvation wages" -- even as his own employees made "poverty wages."

You can not lose sight of that and still acknowledge his intent in doing it is centering a few young, foreign-looking Congresswomen with very progressive outlooks and creating friction with the establishment Democrats, as opposed to writing it off as all too stupid to be intentional beyond racism for its own sake.

That literally equals he's being racist on purpose and I'm okay with it in my scenario.

I mean my point stands. And it's the point being made by a lot of folks.

It's weird how in any given scenario you have an explanation for how the GOP is smart and the left are just hysterical losers.

Also... you seem surprised that the POTUS has influence on the national discussion lol why

Im not sure how you see my arguments as an apology for Trump.   IMO, branding a congresswoman as not American is more problematic than racial insensitivity.   I haven't made any arguments about republicans being brilliant.  Republicans have essentially been frozen with fear by the race card for at least twenty years.  Democrats have lost their ability to make reasonable arguments, because they have been able to make super weak argument like everything is racist.    Now Trump comes along and wont let you win with such a limp wrested argument.  Then we spend two years yelling that Trump committed treason with Vladimir Putin.  Now he is inoculated.   He can say almost anything, and worse yet, he probably will.

The board has no want of criticism for Republicans.  Republicans are ridiculous in their own way (think Sean Hannity).

Its funny to be accused of being a Tump apologist.  I catch a ton of crap for my Trump criticism with people daily.  I have to go.  Maybe Ill get back and try to explain my perspective more.

For the record I don't count you as a Trump apologist. I just find it weird when you say Dems brought this upon themselves. I seem to recall you being a semi-religious dude. If the government ever actually turns on Christians like Trump has on certain issues the well y'all shouldn't have cried wolf argument seems weird. It'll never happen in our lifetimes like it has the other way around with Trump but here we be and the blame goes every other way but where it belongs.

How many among us identify as Democrats? To my recollection, there aren't many. I know I sure as heck refuse to.

We finally figured it out:

We can blame Trump's shield on Democrats.

...and tolerance of Bernie on Republicans.

The Presidential debates should include the headline: Mao vs Hitler!

Trump's exploited some really stupid blind spots on the left that are there in large part because he's tricked the left into thinking he's too stupid to possibly disguise his intentions. I blame Trump to the extent that I can for being the intentional agitator and for normalizing racism coming from his position, but I also kinda have to blame the left some for falling for some truly spectacular ********.

The guy ******* acted like he really liked Vladimir Putin for no particular reason while he was being investigated for cooperating with the Russian government, and got liberals to think it was because he had criminal connections with Putin and was just too stupid to think of any other way to hide it. People need to eat some **** for that. And this recent thing, if people just decide he had no strategic intentions because it's more satisfying to nail him and his followers for racism.

If I didn't figure it out for myself, it's not like anyone here would have told me. It seems to me like it ought to be more distressing than it is going into 2020 how much the left is willing to obsess over Trump's influence versus having practically no desire to understand what he's driving at in creating the stories that he does, beyond what it confirms to them about Trump and his followers. It looks like a bubble, and it feels like a bubble, and I keep finding things I needed to go outside the bubble to find.

Did I say you were apologizing for Trump? I said you always seem to favor the right in any discussion. I mean that in itself is fine, we all have our biases... but you parade as an open minded moderate yet you always seem to have some kind of explanation for how the left is screwing up and the right is benefiting from it. You apply this to every social issue that comes up. It's weird.

I have had my share of complaints about people playing the race card too much... but suggesting that the left made the argument weak for when actual racism comes up is an absurd cop out. Pure and simple. Real racism cannot be watered down. It only takes a willingness to ignore it.

It's something someone says when it's not an issue they actually care about.

You're gonna have to walk me through how Republicans have been frozen with fear of racist accusations, because I disagree with that statement pretty hard. I think people on the right have an assortment of excuses for why unpopular policy they want hasn't happened and blaming the left any way they can is pretty convenient.

The Russia thing is pretty irrelevant. Most people haven't paid attention to it or cared about it at all basically the whole time. Whenever I see someone say something like "the left screwed up with the Russia hoax" all it tells me is they are too plugged into right wing propaganda.

Heres your transformational Socialist

"Everyone deserves to get paid $15 and hour!"

ok we want $15 an hour raise so lead the way to show it will work

"Listen I can't afford to pay all of you $15 an hour so Im going to have to cut back your hours to keep you employed

wait... you said that won't happen in the work place if we force business's pay everyone $15 an hour.

"Capitalism is the problem here people, Not my idea"

lol

...these aren’t hourly positions, worzone. you understand that cutting hours for salaried employees doesn’t lower their pay, right?

The odd thing about Worzone/Tea Falcon is that he wants to vote for Warren but he also goes around "making fun of socialists"

He takes contradictory positions randomly

And No one quite understands why, I'm afraid not even Tea himself
