You got me.  I'm not voting for Trump anymore because some people in the crowd wanted to send America hating terrorist supporting Omar back to where she came from.

Trump 2020 baby!

I wasn't specifically referring to you, but it's good to know the hit dogs around here are still quick to holler.

So what makes one an "America Hater"? Not liking some of the government's policies? Not liking the president?

Under that criteria, Steve could have been called an "America Hater" from 2008 to 2016.

Still is.

See: His comments in the Rand Paul thread.

Wrong.  Trump was born in 46, Bernie was born in 41.  5 years is pretty significant.

Interestingly GW Bush, Trump, and Bill Clinton were all born within a couple months of each other:

GW Bush: 6/7/1946
Trump: 6/14/1946
Bill Clinton: 8/19/1946

Trump holds people accountable including subordinates and other leaders.

If you recall he cancelled one summit with Kim Jong because he wasn't behaving as Trump wanted him to.

Kim Jong knows he's dealing with a strong US President.  Trump will keep him in line for the next 5 years at least.

Opposing spending money that we don't have makes me a Patriot not a hater :D

Republicans are running record deficits under their watch. Are we still going to pretend that they care about spending?

This is just empty virtue signaling.

Trump has done more with NoKo than anY POTUS IN THE LAST 67 years.

Prisoner's back, remains back, negotiations open, stronger sanctions against them and no rush to a bad deal.

What has he done? Everything you mentioned has literally been done before and South Korea’s President Moon Jae-in has done far more than Trump in this matter.

I’d like to know what your idea of a good deal with North Korea is exactly.

Your dig about a bad deal with Iran is laughable since it was a high priority multinational agreement with a country known to support terrorism.... an agreement everyone was abiding by.

NK has no allies. They don’t support terrorists or our enemies, they literally terrorize their own people and are our enemy. Never mind how conservatives blew their top off at Obama’s mere mention of being open to talking to North Korea. This partisan hackery is ridiculous.

Also tried to deflect when it was pointed out that he and others ran around here saying that Trump got North Korea to disarm when that was clearly never the case.

It's the old term, "Only Nixon could go to China".

Because if a Democrat dared to do it, he would be lambasted for being "Soft on communism".

The same dynamic is in play here.

I would love to hear @HolyMoses's take on Omar and Tlaib's numerous anti-semitic remarks.

Why don't you post them in context and I will be happy to.  In fact, post EVERYTHING they have said that shows they hate Jews, Israel, and America.

FWIW, believing that Israel should not settle the West Bank does NOT make you anti Israel Or Anti-Semitic.  Nor does expecting Israel to treat those in Gaza and the West Bank humanely.  The Golan Heights, however, were won fair and square in the 1967 and 1973 Wars.

Thanks.

First:

In 2012, she tweeted that “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.” The tweet implied that Israel and its supporters were secretly tricking the world into supporting it, a longtime anti-Semitic trope for which Omar apologized after taking office in January.

“I heard from Jewish orgs. that my use of the word ‘hypnotize’ and the ugly sentiment it holds was offensive,” she tweeted. “I spent ... little energy [in] disavowing the anti-Semitic trope I unknowingly used, which is unfortunate and offensive.”

Not remotely anti-semitic in my opinoin.  A poor choice of words, for which she apologized.  I actually agree that a large part of the world, and obviously a large percentage of Jews, have  a blind spot for Israel.  Given our history, I think Jews deserve the benefit of the doubt, but that doubt does not extent to West Bank settlement and human rights violations against the Palestinians.

Second:

I've addressed this before.  The "calming" is NOT about the murder of 6,000,000 Jews.  The 'calming is the the Jews got a in HER WORDS "well deserved (or something like that) homeland.  That homeland was in territory occupied by Palestinians.   Some went peacefully, others not so much.  But it was their land and they did, in fact LOSE their land so that Jews could have a home land.  Other than glossing over certain historical facts (which Jews also tend to gloss over, btw) I have no problem with that statement.

Are you going to admit you are getting conned?  I heard what Trump said.  He used some incredibly ugly language to describe their anti-Semitic attacks.

But that was some pretty weak sauce right there.

But not as weak as your lack of response.

Biden's team is going to come out swinging

But Warren isnta dark horse candidate. she's a top tier one.

Warren, Biden, Sanders, Harris are the top 4,

Buttigeig is at. least one election away from being a serious contender though he was building some political power early on before he got crushed at home over his handling of a law enforcement officer

Booker hasn't done anything to suggest he can be a dark horse, he's even less appealing than he was during his house rants though he could find a footing in the debates, he has some name recognition at least.

Gabbard picked up some steam in getting name recognition in the first debate. I actually think she's a decent candidate against Trump. her attitude gives me more a feeling of positivity than most running right now. She might be a serious contender for Vp for whoever gets the nomination unless they wanted to play it smart and pick a Establishment candidate with a socialist Vp or a Socialist candidate with an establishment style VP to try and bing everyone together.

Warren/Gabbard would be a cool ticket honestly.

Her net favorable rating is +7, while Booker is +30.

https://morningconsult.com/2020-democratic-primary/

538's poll after the first debate had her go from +5.8 to +9.1, while Booker went from +33.9 to 40.6 among Dem voters. Booker has been gaining endorsements in early states like NH and IA. Just announced 6 endorsements from State Leg in NH. IAStartingLine has him in 1st in IA endorsements and 538 has him in 3rd in their national endorsements. The data shows Booker has breakout potential. He is well liked by the base, is doing better in early state polling than nationally, and is gaining support from local leaders in those early states.

Gabbard is struggling to make a positive impression. I get that you like her, but you are pretty much the opposite of the average dem voter. Gabbard also hit 65k donors before Booker or Castro and now both have passed her.
