like this was the **** being pulled after nevada:

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/did-sanders-supporters-throw-chairs-at-nevada-democratic-convention/

the leader of the democratic national convention went on national television and lied about sanders' supporters "throwing chairs".

like sorry, not sorry - i'm extremely skeptical of anyone involved in the democratic party apparatus in nevada after what i witnessed in 2016.

especially without evidence.

I mean, it's not a hard thing to believe.  Bernie supporters were angry about the Nevada caucus -- he got something like 48% of the vote but only 15 delegates (Clinton got 20).

If immediately after the caucus -- like that day -- a Nevada Dem official's car got damaged and received threatening phone calls, and other officials experienced harassing and threatening calls, and there were threatening posts on the Nevada Dem Party facebook page...it's pretty obvious what's going on.

Just to clarify, it wasn't just that the Sanders camp fell just short in Nevada in 2016. Numerous shady dealings were employed during and around that caucus to prevent Sanders from winning, such as Reid calling in favors with casino bosses to prevent their employees from going to the caucus.

Not going to lie, I absolutely think Bloomberg is worse than Trump. They largely believe in the same goals but while one is an oaf the other is a very effective psychopath.

Actually it was the opposite. He called in favors to let the employees go to the caucus and stay the full time.

Harry Reid delivers for Hillary Clinton: Jon Ralston

Nevada's 'neutral' power players may have saved a campaign and changed history.

Taylor has “been extremely cooperative,” Reid told Chozick. “Probably 100 organizers will be at the caucus sites and in hotels to make sure people know what they’re doing.”

But Reid did not stop there. He also called casino executives, Democratic insiders confirm, with a simple message: “Let your people go.”

That is, he wanted to ensure the workers would be allowed time off from work to caucus. No one said no to Prince Harry.

Despite their common public neutrality, Taylor and Reid surely believe, as do most Democratic power brokers, that a Sanders nomination would be a disaster. Reid knew that Taylor would get his swarms of organizers to turn out mostly Latino workers, who would likely vote for Clinton.

On Saturday, Clinton won all six casino sites. And instead of an aggregate 100 or so employees, hundreds of workers showed up to caucus, thanks to Reid to Taylor to organizers.  But those culinary workers at the Strip sites were not the only ones who caucused — some of those who were not working went to their home sites. And Reid also encouraged leaders of other unions, I’m told, to rally their members to juice Clark County for Clinton.

Bernie 2016 wasn't as diverse or working class as Bernie 2020.

I just saw that.

Maybe it's just me but you'd think if there was good news they'd already have come out with it.

Alright guys, time to make enough money so that the oligarchs will leave me alone.  I think I just need to get to the head of a department at some large financial firm within the next 6-8 years.  KAG will leave me alone if I make enough money right?  I know if I’m poor they will tell me bootstraps or sumsit.  I don’t wanna goto grad school though :(

Bloomberg is 78.

Correct, I'm not a big Bloomberg guy. I do have issues with stop and frisk. I understand no person that has been in politics for any real length of time is going to have a record I 100% agree with. At the end of the day, you have to weigh things. I would prefer a President under 65.  That's just one small piece of it. I would also like someone that has realistic ideas vs just saying what the ultra far end of the party wants to hear.

Bottom line, at the end of the day I'm going to line up behind the democratic nominee. I just hope it is someone I can really believe in vs a person folks will be complaining about because they couldn't do what they said because it was pie in the sky and not feasible, or they didn't have enough support when it comes time to vote.

I think he was nudged, just like Sr. was then the car went head first into the was just as Dale's did. Now they have to wear the Hans device (mandatory) which more than likely saved Newman's life.

Newman is in surgery right now. His condition remains serious, but he is expected to live.

Raising costs on the poor will lead to higher utilization of more expensive services down the road. The same is true for having cost-sharing on those with chronic diseases like diabetic patients.

Any cost sharing system has to exempt the poor, chronically ill/disabled, as well as preventive measures and services to children/pregnant women.  Also, generic drugs, since we want to promote the use of generics.

The purpose of a cost sharing system is to promote good healthcare behavior not to prevent people from getting necessary services or delaying services. You want people to go to health clinics or primary care doctors when it is a small problem over going to the emergency room.
