Really? Don't recall Obama blaming Bush for anything. Don't recall him mentioning him by name at all. Sounds like ODS.

Dude, stop. That's all he did.

This is what you get when you back a narcissistic personality. They use you to make themselves feel better about themselves.

They don't even try to hide it.  It's all out in the open.  I bet he talked to Bibi sometime yesterday too.

I'd love to see some examples of Obama blaming Bush for stuff.  Pointing out that you inherited the worst economy in close to a century is telling the truth, not playing the blame game.

We've gotten away from Conservative outrage at bowing to Saudi Arabian royalty to their full on acceptance on outright blowing them in public.

Dems need to play by the rules that have been dealt. Like you said, just simply telling the simple truth over and over again will eventually break through.

Even in states like this one and it will move us back to getting things done FOR the people not the rich and special interest.

So last time Iran made noise, the Obama admin paid them off.

This is from CNN too:

(CNN)The Obama administration made two additional cash payments totaling $1.3 billion, after delivering $400 million to Iran by plane in January, to resolve a failed arms deal, administration officials told lawmakers Tuesday.
https://www.cnn.com/2016/09/07/politics/iran-cash-payments-congress-hearing/index.html

Now Iran is feeling the pain of the sanctions and wants another payoff.  But they are not dealing with Obama anymore.  They are dealing with Trump.  Their saber rattling is not going to get them $$$.

I don't want war but I also don't want Trump to cave and try to buy Iran off like Obama did.  I don't pay taxes for appeasement money for Iran.

"The $1.8 billion

The Congressional Research Service, the nonpartisan analytic arm of Congress, reviewed this cash transfer in a 2018 report. It gave a total of $1.7 billion.

That was the amount that U.S. and Iranian negotiators settled on to resolve an arms contract between the United States and Iran that predated the Iranian revolution in 1979. Iran had paid for military equipment, and it was never delivered.

As of 1990, there were $400 million in that account. Negotiators agreed that accrued interest would add $1.3 billion to the amount, which is a lot of money — but 25 years is a long time for interest to build up the balance.

The United States sent the money to Iran in euros, Swiss francs and other currencies. Trump embellished when he mentioned barrels and boxes. Reports at the time said the money was packed and loaded onto pallets, similar to how other bulk goods are shipped."

"THE FACTS: There was no $150 billion payout from the U.S. treasury. The money he refers to represents Iranian assets held abroad that were frozen until the deal was reached and Tehran was allowed to access its funds.

The payout of about $1.8 billion is a separate matter. That dates to the 1970s, when Iran paid the U.S. $400 million for military equipment that was never delivered because the government was overthrown and diplomatic relations ruptured.

That left people, businesses and governments in each country indebted to partners in the other, and these complex claims took decades to sort out in tribunals and arbitration. For its part, Iran paid settlements of more than $2.5 billion to U.S. citizens and businesses.

The day after the nuclear deal was implemented, the U.S. and Iran announced they had settled the claim over the 1970s military equipment order, with the U.S. agreeing to pay the $400 million principal along with about $1.3 billion in interest. The $400 million was paid in cash and flown to Tehran on a cargo plane, which gave rise to Trump’s dramatic accounts of money stuffed in barrels or boxes and delivered in the dead of night. The arrangement provided for the interest to be paid later, not crammed into containers."

So Obama enters a denuclearization treaty with Iran that all experts have said was working — Iran was not seeking nuclear weapons as part of the deal.

Trump rips up that deal and starts making threats and aggressive actions against Iran.

Trump’s actions was part of why we are near the brink of war with Iran.  At the last minute, Trump cancels an attack that would have killed hundreds of Iranians.

And the rightwingers are cheering Trump for somehow making peace?

Just dumb.

What do you think about Arafat getting a Nobel Peace prize?
