Jesse Biddle pitched a perfect inning for Gwinnett last night. Seven of his 12 pitches found the zone.

Coming into tonight the Braves bullpen was 17th and only slightly worse than the Phillies, but not much.

I didn't realize Philly's bullpen had improved that much

Broadcast just mentioned the Braves bullpen has the best bullpen ERA in the NL East. The last 10 road games the bullpen has a 1.42 ERA.

I didnt expect the Nats to be very good but I didnt see them struggling as much as they are now. They're struggling in all phases.

The most notable thing about this series is Joe Simpson.  He has been a " kinder, gentler" Joe Simpson...

I was the opposite. They were still my pick to win the division. I'm very surprised at how terrible they've been this year in all areas of the game.

I wouldnt mind Prado coming off the Braves bench again one day.

I was really wanting him last year but with the injury issues he's had, he's just not the same guy he used to be. When he has been healthy to play he's just not been very good. Since the start of 2017 he's hit only .252/.288/.335 (.623). Also don't want the Braves paying him any of the $15M he's getting paid this year.

6 shutout innings from Julio!! Great job!! It was mentioned earlier in the game that for whatever fluky reason Julio does better with Flowers catching. I made that connection last year with both him and Newcomb that their ERA was 2 runs better throwing to Flowers than Suzuki.
