OilFuturesTrader19
Maxx Crosby looks too skinny to be an NFL DE. Teams will run right at him. Anyone else see this?? LaurentRobinsonDaGawd and FalconBlood

Maxx hasn't maxed out his frame. He can continue to bulk for a couple of seasons before he reaches his potential. He also has great athletic testing and plays like a man possessed. He hasn't lived up to his 1st round billing in their system and they probably want to give his roster spot to someone else and give him a chance for a fresh start elsewhere. takeitdown
Who are the other guys we had top 30 visits with (or visits with in general) that are still around? There are still 5 players at each position I'd like to have, but I've lost track of which ones we've scouted. FalconBlood

LaurentRobinsonDaGawd
I just said this in my thread, but I'd take a rookie Kroy Biermann in this scheme, and w/ DQ over maxx Crosby in even the 7th round. That's disgusting. If you thought it was sad watching Vic Beasley get manahndeled, wait til you see him get pancaked by a RB in pass protection. And his frame doesn't look like it could add too much more good weight without losing athleticism. I simply hate him as a prospect. My reaction to Kaleb McGary would look like Ed Oliver falling to 14, if we ended up drafting Crosby. I like McGary for the record. I just liked Ford more, and really Taylor if he was medically cleared. I think we REALLY wanted to trade up for Tytus Howard, so we traded up for our next highest rated OT. I have zero doubts that Lindstrom will end up being the highest graded rookie OL by PFF in 2019. Dude fits like a glove next to Alex Mack. Not sure which way it goea, but 85% of me thinks mcgary will be a top 7-8 RT by the end of year 3. The other 15% of me makes me thinks we got a Lamar holmes-esque player. Im talking about production, and not as a prospect comparison. Sorry for the random McGary ramble. I truly do love our OL though. Get a high rated OG next year for LG, and hope mcgary pans out, and we have a top 3-5 OL. Lindstrom-Mack-Matthews are current stars/future star. If mcgary pans out, we will only have 1 'weak' spot until Mack retires. Even then, the surrounding pieces will make up for any lack of skill, especially being sandwiches between a top LT and C.
