Draft Setup

Recommended Posts

Every year I go all out for the draft, setup 8 TVs that give us all the data we need. The screens other than the draft itself display:

Previous 20 Picks

Top 10 Overall & Top 10 by Position Available

Next 30 Picks

Current team on the clock draft picks

Current team depth charts

Player profile of who was just drafted with college stats and combine workout

Overall stats of the draft (draft picks by college, by position, by class, by conference, side of ball)

The goal was to put at much data in front of us so we never had to be on our phones looking stuff up.  It’s all updated by selecting a player to a team on the Microsoft Surface and my Desktop then updates all the screens.

Obviously a ton of food and drinks are involved as well.  Anyone else do anything fun for the draft?

What’s your cable bill per month?  5 bills?

The top three are always down there.  I have DirecTV so I pay for three boxes for down there.  The other five TVs are old ones from bedroom, living room and ones I normally use for my computer.

Do you create the boards (big boards, depth charts etc) yourself? Where do you get the player profiles from?

Don't know if that's part of the Falcon War Room, or somewhere in the Pentagon

We used a combination of espn, bleacher report and PFF for the big boards.  Player profiles I get stats from multiple websites and just combine them.
