Proof that Hageman is just a camp body, doesn’t have the ability to make the team

Ra’Shede Hageman sacked Aaron Rodgers with one hand while lying on his stomach

One big swipe was all the big lineman needed to send Rodgers to the turf.

Ra’Shede Hageman is a strong man. Strong enough to sack Aaron Rodgers. From his stomach. With just one swipe of his hand.

from this play

The Atlanta Falcons’ defensive lineman powered through Green Bay Packers center Corey Linsley, forcing Rodgers back in the pocket. His drive left him face down on the turf, but he recovered in time to get one last swat in at the Packer quarterback’s feet. He hit Rodgers’ ankle to send the two-time MVP to the turf, locking down a clutch 11-yard loss with an unlikely sack.

2 years is a long time to be out of professional sports.. Ill say this, if he does make the team he definitely wasted some valuable time and money during his prime

He has no playmakimg ability, how could he possibly make the team when he has no ability to make plays?

We are much better with rotating DL like Rubin and Courtney  Upshaw, Shelby.

He has no size especially height....camp body at best

At 6’6”, 320 Lbs, he only had a vertical leap of 36”.  No explosion whatsoever.  Look how tiny he is next to former NFL Defensive Tackle DQ.

I can see someone bumping this the moment he gets cut(if he does) and throwing every stone in the yard at you

They  are all right, We are much better with some of their hero’s rotating DL like Rubin, Joey Mbu, Courtney  Upshaw, Shelby, Adam Replogle, Travian Robertson!!!!

Each and every one of them had far more playmakimg ability and freak athleticism than  Hageman.

In all seriousness, my point is directed at those saying he has no chance of making the team and was signed as a camp body.  I never even said he was a lock to make the team, I’m saying it’s foolish to suggest he has no chance.

Our DL needs to add some girth so we’d need to go another route

Upshaw was a good player with the Ravens though.

The Falcons misused him and had him gain a lot of weight to become a DT.

Who said he had no chance to make the team?

Go read the Hageman signed thread of 8 pages, littered with “He’s just a camp body, won’t make the team, blah, blah, blah. These comments are utterly dismissive of his playmakimg and freak athletic ability. We already have proof on film of his last 10 games in a row he played here that he is a dominant pocket collapsing havoc wreaking DT.

Camp body my ***

Im not even predicting he is a lock to make the team, I’m say8mg it’s foolish to be so dismissive of us signing him.

I did. I don't see anyone in that thread saying he has no chance at making the team. I see lots of folks saying to take it easy because there's no guarantee that he'll make the team. That's vastly different than saying he has no chance of making the team. My opinion is the same, he's going to have to earn his spot on the team. That's far from saying he has no chance to make the team. Calling a person a "camp body" isn't a bad thing. It's not a "knock" against someone. Lots of "camp bodies" have gone on to make the HOF.

Camp Body = Any player signed to the team that has to "earn" his spot on the roster because it's not guaranteed.

Camp Body =/= Bum who has no chance at making the team.

Just terrible signing, had no impact on Brady in the Super Bowl.

  • FILE - In this Dec. 11, 2016, file photo, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff, right, is hit by Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle Ra'Shede Hageman during the second half of an NFL football game in Los Angeles. The Falcons have signed Hageman, giving a second chance to the defensive tackle the team released in 2017 after he was charged with domestic violence. Photo: Mark J. He clearly can’t get to the QB as a backup rotating DT, BRING BACK AHTYBA RUBIN BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!

Look how Hageman can’t shed blocks, can’t get penetration, just isn’t impactful.

Another situation where you can tell Cam Newton is playing with him.

Hageman cant even wrap up diminutive 250lb scat back Blount in Super Bowl. Everyone knows how easy Blount is to tackle.

and below is another Super Bowl photo where Blount is running right over Hagemen

Another failure to wrap up the running back.

No way this type of player rotating in on the defensive line could help this defense.

No athletic ability, no pass rush ability,  gets tossed around like a rag doll, gets run over by power backs, can’t shed blocks, has no power or playmakimg ability= Camp body

Hey...thanks for written analysis! I too, believe you, though I’m visually impaired and can’t discern the activity depicted in your pics! :tiphat:
