Numbers on new deals?

11 posts in this topic

Anyone have the numbers and the subsequent updated cap number? I see we are 'looking' at Shelton but how much funds are left after goodwill shopping today?

Numbers on two #Falcons deals from earlier today: ATL agreed to terms with G Jamon Brown on a 3-year, $18.75M deal with $12.75M guaranteed, while G James Carpenter is signing for 4 years and $21M, source said

Those are solid deals.

****. That's not bad at all. Especially considering the absurd numbers other guys are getting. If they're structured anywhere near as well as Sambrailo's deal, we made off like bandits.

Brown = $6.25 AAV

Carpenter = $5.25 AAV

If y’all don’t think these guys are starting, you’re crazy...

LT: Matthews

LG: Carpenter/Wes

C: Mack

RG: Brown/Fusco

RT: Sambrailo/Schraeder

Thats about $40-42 million AAV on the OL for the Falcons....they be spending, can’t complain...now let’s hope it helps keep Matt protected and the running lanes and short yardage situations improve.

I see mid round OC and/or OT at best in draft for all you Mocker $&#%*ers....

Nice, we got ways to free up salary in the OL after this year at latest. Get one or two prospects in the draft, while focusing on D first and we’re good to go.

C to develop behind Mack; could be had rnds 1-4...another OT to develop or OG if the C can’t play there mid-rounds latest.  Still gives us seven picks total in the first five rounds if we make no moves. 5 or 6 can be outside OL.
