I haven't been on here too much lately so I apologize if this was already posted, but I have my DVR set to record anything with the tag "Atlanta Falcons" and by my surprise Damontae Kazee did an interview on FS1 about the season and his life.

A decent interview and some insight into him on and off the football field as well as growing up. If you can find it, then be sure to check it out. Here's a snippet I found on Youtube below.

Again if already known, then please delete

Baller. I love the kid. He's one of those guys that truly just loves football and has that confidence to ball out every Sunday. I can't wait to see what DQ does with this secondary.

Yea man I was trying to find the whole interview but it wasn't anywhere so hopefully people are able to find it because it was interesting.

I think he will definitely continue to shine no matter what position he plays.

Until contract time...

You got that right. I'm more like Billy Check come contract time. See Chandler Jones. Traded him coming off a Pro Bowl season. He went on to beast for ARI. Billy Check just reloaded and won a Lombardi the next year after being down 28-3 with 23:36 remaining in regulation. Won another one a week and a half ago in our backyard.

I wonder if he is strictly penciled in to compete for Nickelback or if they will give him a fair chance to compete with Allen at free safety. I know we missed Allen at Safety and he is a good player back there but Quinn preaches open competition so I wonder if there will be a fair shot there for Kazee.

Who the heck is Billy Check?

Those one or two game Allen played nickel corner 2 seasons ago, he was balling. Idk have the inside knowledge and comparison tape to see who is better for the defense. Obviously the turnovers are a big deal but those small nuances in regards to bailing out your DBs I’m not sure about.

But based on what I’ve seen. If Allen can play nickel like he did and Kazee can continue this turnover trend, then that would be the move I make. Maybe Kazee plays nickel better and is dominant there. Maybe it’s a consistent 3 safety look. Either way I’m excited to see what happens and have a feeling Quinn, being the turnover lover that he is, will find a way to incorporate Allen and Kazee on the field in the best possible way.

If not, then I will for sure be disappointed.

Highly debatable. Lebron is a beast. I don't think either could stop the other in their primes.

the only advantage LeBron has is size. and even that can be countered by Jordan. If Bron wanted to go to the hole, only way Jordan could stop him is to foul him. But enough hard fouls and Bron would fold and stick to jumpers cause he is soft as a bowel movement after taking a laxative.

Has their ever been a time where someone led the league in INTs and was then not starting the next season?

7 INTs in his 1st year. I love Ricardo but he has 7 INTs in his whole career. Alford had 5 in the last 4 seasons. Trufant has 7 in the last 5 seasons. You can combine all of our starting DBs from 2017 or 2016 and they were lucky to have that for the whole season. Let that sink in. We had 8 total INTs all of 2017 that isnt just DBs that is everyone!!! In 2016 our DBs had 8 TOTAL. 12 for the whole defense.

Getting INT's is not easy. Kazee has proven to be a ballhawk. We need that at FS. We need Allen to mentor Kazee on all the things he does so well (Angles, Tackling, Communication, etc) but Allen should be playing CB next season and let Kazee continue to flourish.

Lebron could back Jordan in Karl Malone style and jam on him all day. He also could step out to the key and drive on him. He does that to guards, forwards and centers.

Jordan could shoot threes, drive past Lebron and jam.

It would be an interesting match up.
