I didn't realize that had happened. Missed the last few games as I got really busy with school.

That's fair. I only got to watch the games on replay myself because of school. But yeah, the writing's kind of on the wall for him.

Wes is *** tho. I'd rather get a FA guard, draft a guard in the second, and let Ty/Ryan fight for the RT spot.

I like the approach and would just give the RT spot to Ty and save millions over the next two years.

I know I might get flamed for this but I could see us drafting Campbell's replacement this year.

Not at all. It's hard for a 4-3 team to make a serious financial commitment to more than one LB. Any GM worth his salary should be able to find a competent starting caliber #2 LB in the mid rounds of the draft every few years to replace the last one.

I can see everyone on here for contractual purposes except Riley.  If they were to cut him they probably wouldn't do it until at least preseason because he is only making about 950,000 this year and we'd only save about half that unless we designate him a June 1 cut, which IMO would be a waste.  They can always keep him on special teams and continue to try seeing what they can get out of him.The same for Neasman, he will only make about 720,000 and none of its guaranteed so they can keep him on the roster for now, and cut him if need be after TC or during PS.  But best case scenario is that we keep him on at a lower end contract this year and he performs well in case we can't find someone else to backup Neal.

The 2019 Falcons are one step closer to 4-12 like 2007 and 2013 if we don't make the correct moves. I'm telling you right now.

Why are we the only team making these big cuts? Everyone understands Alford, but Bryant? Come on man.

Bigger name will be cut from other teams in the coming weeks before the league year starts.

These cuts of veteran players keeps the message fresh.  Love Bryant but his cut was simply business.  Everyone loves that man.

See how improved the Seahawks were this year.  Sometimes you have to rattle cages

Insert the smart cuts, also there should be an Ice restructuring.

More cap space than we know what to do with.meaning sure up the trenches.

Interested in the performance related cuts

Schrader could be either. Fusco would be more performance based. Duke Riley is one I'd look for in the performance based bracket for sure.

Releasing a player early in the league year is a favor/sign of respect because it gives the player the most opportunity to find a new team.

Cornerback and the LINE OF SCRIMMAGE from draft and free agency, and we have to play chess with everyone when making those correct choices. It will be challenging for the front office. Since our Super Bowl collapse, our roster has not improved at all. It has regressed. 11-5 Super Bowl. 10-6 wildcard to divisional round. 7-9 miss the playoffs. That's not improving. With all the cuts we're making due to all these players getting big deals, and after all the coaching changes Quinn just made, this makes 2019 a make or break year. Gonna be a very new roster y'all.

Getting rid of sark and MM was the correct moves....       our core team is still in place..   .I agree hitting Free agency is a must and with the moves so far I'm expecting the "big splash"  like the one that brought in Turner and Bryant..  I'm actually excited about 2019 and we havent even truly begun to make legit moves

I think it's Levitre. I think there was an ED medication that had a similar sounding name.

How on earth did I forget about Hoop. Honestly I think Hoop might be the most reasonable reup

Wouldn't be surprised if he got extended this year, save the falcons money long term.

Like to see Schreader take a straight pay cut and come back strong next year.

Coach called out Neasman as a player he has been pleased w how they stepped up I believe. He is cheap enough to bring to camps I would think.

Yep, I had questioned in in another thread, and there is a pill called Levitra, which makes the nickname funny as ish to me! Possibly beat Falcon nickname ever. Wish it would have caught on before he was left go as a UFA though lol.

Stop with the "nickname" nonsense.

Consider this your last warning. Thanks.

Expecting Brooks Reed and Schraeder next; perhaps latter as a post-6/1 designation.

Why so quick to cut Reed? We aren’t exactly stacked at DE and his deal is manageable. He has done a good job for this team as a rotational piece. Also took a pay cut last off-season.

i wouldn’t care either way, but he isn’t our biggest problem by any means.
