The Hypocrisy of the New Orleans Saints by Cowherd

47 posts in this topic

Why do people hate Colin . . . because he disagrees with you or says things you don't like?

That in itself is hypocrisy.

Lol at Saints acting like they are the first team ever to get screwed by a terrible call in the playoffs. They are acting like such little ****** it's quite incredible to be honest. At least they had every opportunity to go out and win the game AFTER the blown call unlike many other teams in the past that lost on terrible last second calls. Brees throwing that huge INT, and terrible play calling by Shaun Payton had a bigger impact on the outcome than that single play.

I dislike any Sports Talk person who has terrible takes just to have terrible takes... just like Skip Bayless.. guys who say things to get a rise out of the public

The only thing Cowherd forgot to mention was the Katrina Refs and all the calls that went the Saints way over the last 12 years

And the no call on the facemask on Goff. Would have set them up first and goal at the 2. Both plays literally cost their teams the exact same.

If you look at the 2 plays with no emotional ties, it's hard not to admit that the face mask play was an iffy foul whereas the interference play was far more obvious.

Not a big fan of his, but he is the only media person I have heard giving it straight talk.. the bountygate stuff and the other non calls earlier in the game that were impactful.

This is what happens when you have a fan base that is use to getting EVERY call and EVERY break! They can’t decipher that they simply missed a call, thinking someone is out to get them instead realizing THEY were the ones that put themselves in the situation to begin with!

It turned his head. Pretty obvious to me.

It turned his head but barely impeded his progress. The Saints player let go immediately placing it squarely in the gray area of the Rules.

Far from a Saints fan here, but the 2 fouls were not at all on the same level.

yes they are. The fact is Goffs face mask was grabbed which by the way was one of three missed facemask calls.

Regardless of if the Saints Defender let go immediately he still hit the facemask and grabbed it  enough to force the runners had to turn.... there is no gray area about that that was a face mask penalty. And it should have given the Rams first and goal at the 1-yard line.
