I believe our loss to the Saints in week 3 which was 43-37 (OT) was the first of those 6 losses. Thankfully that trend continued across other teams, but not in the AFC Championship tho.

I told you guys that if a team's fans like the Saints go to the well to often with voodoo it'll backfire on them.

Two years in a row, two devastating defeats. LMAO!

Adam Shefter had the nerve to say that those were the two most heartbreaking playoff losses in a row that any team has ever suffered. Wrong!!

The 86' and 87' Browns and the 98' Vikings would argue differently.

1998 Vikings was 1 game. They didn't have another heartbreaker like that. I was thinking about the Falcons. 2012 NFC CG and 2016 SB were back-to-back losses for the Falcons, add in 2017 against the Eagles and it's 3 in a row for the Falcons really.

Oh, I was just thinking about heartbreaking postseason losses in general.

The late 80's Browns fit the criteria though. Both "the Drive" and "the Fumble" still lives on in postseason legend.

The Saints also lost to the worst playoff team in postseason history in the 2010 Seahawks who were 7-9.

Saints were also the defending SB champions at the time.

Lynch, "BEAST MODE" run, ran through the entire Aints D, jumped over the goal line holding his nuts!  THE MOST DISRESPECTFUL RUN IN NFL HISTORY!!!!  I love it!

I honestly was worried about Ernest Byner after those two games.

Dude fumbled at the same point and at the same place both times to lose those games for the Browns.

Yeah, but many are just blaming that no-call PI. Saints should've won the game despite that.

They are giving Sean Payton a pass for the worst play-calling of his career in the 4th quarter and OT.

Vicodin wore off late in 4th quarter.

2016 and 2017 are worse without 2012

The way the Saints lost to the Vikings last year and the Rams this year is karma for the nonstop 28-3 crap they pull everytime we have played them since.

They laughed non stop when we got screwed over in 2012 on the clear as day hold by Bowman in the NFC Champ. game when we would have been playing the SB in New Orleans.

I love they got screwed over this time. I am going to enjoy all the Saints fan tears for the next 7 months.

Why Carroll didn't run him in the Pats SB for  1 yard is one for the ages.
