jidady
If his WHIP were better, I'd say we should call him up. Earn your way on the team over the next few weeks, kid! We definitely need the help.

Anderson and Jeremy Walker combined for a no-hitter last night. That's the second no-hitter of the season for Braves affiliates after Jasseel De La Cruz turned the trick for A+ Florida last month. It is the third no-hitter in Mississippi Braves franchise history and the first since Julio Teheran and Ty'Relle Harris combined for one on August 2, 2010. Dang that's pretty cool that the farm system has had 2 no-no's this year. I'm really excited about Anderson.

Unknøwn
This was 95 MPH from Anderson. The hitter is Wander Franco of the Rays. Franco has K'd 39 times in his entire career of 580 ABs. The guy just doesnt get fooled. ATL Fan in the DMV, Drew4719, Malachore and 2 others
Malachore
Anderson looked great, Pache not so much. Also his swing looks REALLY long and sluggish to me. He seemed to be late quite often yesterday. I know he was facing the best but am I wrong in thinking that about his swing?

None of this extra unnecessary stuff that most pitchers throw into their delivery. ATL Fan in the DMV

His swing has come a long way but the report was at times he will fall back into his old swing. He has a reputation as a relentless worker so he just has to work back out of it. Pache makes his name as a contact hitter with great defense. The dude can go get them with the best of em in the OF.

I've heard nothing but good things about him but if that's his regular swing I can't see him doing much at the major league level unless it changes. Pretty much, his improved swing is what got him where he is. Hes a career .287/.335 in the minors. His power is raw but coming around. Dont expect another Acuna but he can still be a guy that hits .280 with Ender type defense. Honestly, I think Drew Waters is the better pure hitter. That guy can flat swing the bat. Was just wondering if I caught him trying too hard to impress at the Futures game or if that really was his swing. Certainly wasn't expecting Acuna type power and offense from him but going to be honest I was expecting to hear better than .280 hitter with Ender type defense considering the amount of hype he's been getting. Waters has the added complication of being a switch hitter, which will be very valuable in the long run but he's got work to do on the righty swing right now (opposite of Albies). Pache's progress has been steadier, and it's come with pronounced physical changes over the last 2 years. I do think Pache's ceiling as a hitter has been constantly undersold by many.
