I know everyone is excited about Waters,Pache,Riley and should. But Ian Anderson is the player I'm most excited about. He looks like he has ace potential. Him,Soraka,Fried as the top 3 in any order yes please

Braves in the next year or two has the potential to field an entire starting lineup and rotation of nothing but home grown talent expect for Fried who they traded for. That's incredible when you think about it.

I'm not sure Anthopolous is ready to play Riley in LF on a regular basis. That's a defensive liability right now since hes just learning the OF. If he takes to it well then I could see it eventually later in the year.

And Acuna is not Ender in the field. He is good, but, bit gg caliber. It makes Riley out there even bigger of a gamble.

Any report on Weigel? He was looking so good before his TJ.

His stuff is good, he reportedly struggles to command it at times which is typical coming off TJ. Opponents only hit .145 off him at AA. He managed to only allow 3 runs in AA over 15 innings despite walking 9.

Thank you. Where do you get your info?

Blevins, yikes! We had other prospects we could have brought up, and we chose Blevins? Sigh...

He's here for only 1 reason in close games. To be a left handed one out guy only

For bigger moves pen wise there are guys that can come up, but this is really a minor deal here (that will be fine as long as he's a LOOGY *only*).

Don't know why you guys are talking about this in this thread but Snitker didn't use him that way because no one knows why. That's the way he should be used but didn't happen today.

Rome Braves CF, Justin Dean

Curious what we think of this guy. Does he have enough hit skill to stay in the leadoff role?

He has the tools, if he develops the skills is still up in the air. I like him a lot though. Good hands and pitch recognition, aggressive without too much swing-and-miss. Bat can get a little loopy, I'd like to see him get quicker to the ball and let it travel a little more so he can tap into some nascent power. Defensive skills are plus already, plus speed, plus-plus make-up.

Thank you. I am assuming we need more than just Pache, Waters and Acuna. I do feel like we will have a steady infield for years to come, including catcher. That is IF we stay healthy. I love to root for guys that are told you aren't               enough.

Yeah, he's my favorite guy in the Rome line-up right now, and there's some fun guys there to pull for. Trey Harris and Greg Cullen are kind of cut from the same cloth.
