Oh man, I remember you bro, we always saw eye to eye on stuff back in the really old days!

Certainly remember you as well. The Keith Brooking/Brookings + Vick vs. Doug Johnson days were some heated ones on the old boards.

Used to be on the old AOL boards wasnt a lot of posters to begin with, and somebody mentioned the website. I remember being stoked finding so many posts and information, Cappy and Shiney were there and wasn't there an Iowa Falcon or something the 3 am crowd, Supes lol, Pretty sure its all compressed memories now LOL but remember when people started booing Chandler when he started getting drilled, Doug Johnson winning in NY.  My ex came downstairs late one night thinking she would catch me watching porn or talking to women in a chatroom, lol think she was more pissed I was on the Falcons website, knew it wasn't gonna last long then.

When he put an okie doke move on Sehorn.

Well, it was easy. I got "baited" into a political argument, words put in my mouth. Things taken out of context, got labeled a racist and next thing you know.....POOF! lol

I now keep my mouth shut on political topics. It's just easier to walk away and keep my mouth shut. Nobody can turn your words around if they have no words to turn around!

Smart man.

Mr Right wasn’t Swift. DTan wasn’t either.

Could've swore they were the same person. They had the same posting style.

Swift and Shiney aren't the same person. Beyond the people who know Shiney personally, Admins can see certain things and patterns to disprove that one.

I can disprove it as well just from posting on here. They're not the same people.

I believe that was 2002. Levak invited about 20 of us to the Branch for a Marketing session to help reshape TATF. Best Falcon experience I've ever had. Included a full Branch tour. Locker room, training room, weight room, draft room, team rooms, Reeves' office, you name it. Got to quiz a scout and finished with free lunch in the cafeteria. Butta. Wont forget. There's a pic of us out there on the web somewhere.

Who was all part of that form the boards? I recall MWJR, Cappy, You, Cooter and direwolf  maybe, but I can’t recall anyone else although there were 20 of us.

I recall the used two suggestions I made for the website about drop down menus and a little coaches segment on what to look for in upcoming games for the students of the game.

My favorite part was going in the war room and seeing the Falcons draft board. I distinctly recall MWJR being with me, and we had been argu8ng about Byron Scott’s 40 yard dash, and his draft card confirmed my argument! Haha

Byron Scott was drafted in 2003 draft so it must have been shortly after that draft we toured.  Also, I got to talk to Ron Hill in depth who was head of our scouting department.

In 2003 Doug Johnson was our starting QB after Vick broke his leg I think!

I've been here about as long.  Gazoo and I used to fight a lot.  I followed Cappy over to FalcFans.com for a bit, but have since come back here.

Yeah, we did go back and forth on Vick a lot but it was usually above board! Once he got drafted it split the board up to some degree.

Bryan Scott!! A guy who was really good until he suffered a concussion. He was never the same after that. And yes, sadly Doug Johnson and Kurt Kittner were the Falcons starting QB's in 2003 after Vick broke his leg. Put to rest really fast the debates from 2002 about how Doug Johnson should have been the Falcons starting QB because he won a game against the Giants and then won the season opener in 2003 against the Cowboys. Falcons drafted Schaub in 3rd round in 2004 so they would have a quality backup to Vick but then Schaub nearly beat the Patriots in 2004 and well, we had the Schaub vs. Vick debates. That Patriots game still pisses me off because there was a 4th down play late in the game where Schaub scrambled and picked up a 1st down in Patriots territory but they called it back because they said he stepped out of bounds but he was clearly 2 steps inside the field of play. Still pissed off about that to this day. That was the same game that Michael Koenen made a 58 yard FG before halftime but they said the Patriots called timeout and made Koenen kick it again and he missed.

2004 during the height of the Matt Schaub vs. Michael Vick debate.

I actually stopped posting for a couple years during that time. It got so out of hand.

Bringing back memories brother 567! I recall that Shaun stepping out of bounds BS too now that you mention it!

Things really changed on the boards once Vick was drafted. I do recall that. I loved himman, but I sure wish he would have put more work in during offseason....he could have been  so much better thannhe even was.

Me, you, Cappy, Shay, Cooter, MWJR, Direwolf, Antmillenium, ClownOrg and Banker are the only ones I can remember. There was a picture of the group taken. Cappy might have it. My favorite was going in Reeves' office. Also seeing all the workout stats posted in the weight room. Fin was leading the group. You and I talked to Ron Hill at training camp. On the field.
