Man, it really blows my mind how much you & I seem to be on the same page about nearly everything.

Some truths are universal or life isn't quite that complicated; even if complex?

If only Freeman could have blocked Hightower like Shanny is blocking LaFleur.

You have to see it coming to have a shot in the first place!:tiphat:

Well ya, he took them with him!

Well, they followed Kyle here, so...

I do not like it when coaches hire other coaches, even when its head coaches doing the hiring.   ALL the coaches need to work for the -team-.....which is why I want the Falcons to standardize thier  playbook, thier playcalling terminology and their defense.

That way when a good position coach is hired, the team needs to work to keep that coach, not lose them to a new HC or Coord who is looking to hire people they are comfortable with.

Its called consistency, something the Falcons could sure use a lot more off.

What could the falcons have done? They couldn't block Shanny genius.

Imagine the Falcons trying to deny Kyle interviewing with San Fran.

Or, when Kyle tried to take those coaches with him to San Fran, the Falcons telling Kyle to suck wind.

As much as I don't approve of some things TD and DQ do, at least they have class and are mature.  Things that Kyle is way short on.

If Kyle was that much of a genius, he wouldn't need those other coaches so much.

Kyle should have used that genius to hold up his end in the Super Bowl.

Why would Quinn keep assistants his next coordinator doesn't want dude?

Good question. Looks like Dirk was forced to keep a handful of offensive guys that are already with the team and didn’t have a choice to hire all his own guys. It happens.

Not to rehash that terrible SB and the year that followed but Sark just may have benefited from having some former assistants who were accustomed to running the offense that he was forced to learn and primarily operate in as a first time play caller in the NFL.
