I don't know why folks act like Dirk Koetter likes and intents to thrown the ball 75% of the time. When he has a good running game he uses it.

  • 2007 = Jaguars = 2nd Rushing Yards
  • 2010 = Jaguars = 3rd Rushing Yards
  • 2015 = Buccaneers = 5th Rushing Yards
  • 2009 = Jaguars = 10th Rushing Yards
  • 2011 = Jaguars = 12th Rushing Yards

There's a reason he barely ever has good running games.

I wonder how many people will admit they were wrong about D Led's reporting?

LOL

He finally gets something right and suddenly he's not a steaming ostrich turd at his job? OK.

Koetter was my 3rd choice but I get the hire. especially since Koetter is open to adjusting his concepts to suit the QB. he did it before by incorporating some of Mularkey's scheme that Matt was comfortble with and I'm pretty sure he will keep some of the WCO principles Matt likes. my thing is, if he can get the type of production he got from Winston & Fitzpatrick here we're already dangerous because Matt ain't the turnover machine those guys were

If we keep WCO as our core, I can be down with the Koetter/Knapp/Mularkey triangle offense. :ninja:

And now it’s time to rewatch that 2012 season

If we convert on the goal line in the NFC Championship, we win the Super Bowl.

Matt Ryan to Julio/Roddy/Gonzalez was a cheat code against defenses.

I am ok with Koetter provided he runs the fking ball.

I guess that all comes down to how healthy Freeman is.

Koetter won't. Ryan was always better suited for the WCO but Koetter did his 4-verts anyway.

Or ran the ball more in the second half of that game.

Is Koetter installing his own playbook, or is he picking up the Shanny's playbook similar to how Sarkisian did?

There was a quote somewhere from Quinn saying he wants to keep the same system but run more.

That’s my fear, Lo. My hope is that’s why they’re keeping Knapp.

it's all about the run game. if Free can give us another Free-like season and Ito Smith proves to not be a fluke, then the sky is the limit. the passing game is automatic
