Just wanted to see where everyone is leaning.   I see a lot of comments in different threads - most of those about one guy or another - wanted to get an idea of where we are as a fanbase on the new OC possibilities.

Dirk has some good qualities. I loved the no huddle.

I agree - and we came really close in '12.   But, I feel like Kubiak is a big step up in an offense that suits Ryan.

Likewise.

Terry Robiskie informed the Bills he won’t be returning. Could be a sign he’s reuniting with Koetter as a WR coach.

Was it Robiskie that showed up a Roddy's place with his grandmother on the phone to straighten him out?

It's hard not to read the handwriting on the wall isn't it? Kubiak is a nice dream, but it's going to be Koetter due to his  experience and good rapport with Mattie Ice. Honestly I will be okay with that, and with Robiskie too.

We need Robiskie back here coaching WRs ASAP. Heem needs to stick to the defensive side.

I like bringing back Robiskie and moving Morris to the DB room

Always liked Robiskie - wouldn't mind him being back at all.    Regardless of OC - I think it would be a good move.

I want Kubiak.  I expect Bevell.

And I think Bevell will be far better than people here seem to think.  Could be Koetter, but honestly, that's basically going to require a re-tooling of the line, when we could do a very minor upgrade to 1 G position and maybe increase depth at T and have a serviceable unit with Bevell.  I also fear Koetter's scheme without a rock solid o-line, which we clearly do not have.  I've seen that movie before.

There are others I'd like -- Rick Denison, Musgrave, etc.  But I think Bevell is the most likely person to actually get the job.

In a Perfect World: Kubiak

Who Gets The Job: Koetter

My Preference: Bevell

Any of the three will do well...but from 2012-2015 Bevell did more with less.

Bevell Offensive DVOA 2012:  4th  Koetter: 12th

Bevell Offensive DVOA 2013:  7th   Koetter: 14th

Bevell Offensive DVOA 2014: 5th    Koetter:  10th

Bevell Offensive DVOA 2015: 1st.  Koetter: 23rd

I liked when koetter was here- he proved to everyone that if you give Matt time he will carve up ANY defense. Matt Ryan is the best QB any of his OCs ever worked with before or after Matt. Matty Ice has made so many OCs look good and it's not even funny. With that said I think with koetter he can hit the ground running. And with a shanny wrinkle here and there it could be something special. I think we would get even more production out of Hooper too. Tony g went wild with koetter.
