Julio is the man...

Recommended Posts

Superstar of this team....

Having a remarkable season....

Even in meaningless late season games, injured, he goes out and plays at a high level.

All the while, in Pitt, Antonio Brown is.....well, Antonio Brown.

Pay Julio, he is a Falcon for life

Well T.O. didn't get through that well i see... JJ#11 didn't let selfisness translate on the field.

Julio put this team on his shoulders...and the team obviously looks at him as a leader....see how he was dogpiled in the Washington game.

He's a good person. A person teammates and fans can respect. Add in being a unique football talent and it is a no brainer to make him happy on the contract front.

You know, I've never been a fan of players that hold out, but I understand why they do it and would probably do the same in his shoes.  After this season, seeing him act professionally throughout the season, I'm to a point of just pay him what he wants (within reason).  We are very lucky having Julio on this team and we are a better team because of it.

Dude is a complete freak of nature. 7 yrs in he can still dominant any 1 on 1 coverage and teams refuse to play him 1 on 1 even with their best corner. When they do....he erupts for 180 200 250 and 300 yard games. Its amazing to watch. Its how I looked at AJ Green when we played against each other in high school. Dude was just better than everybody else by far. Mismatch every day of the week.

Julio Jones may just be the greatest Falcon of all time.

He is going to shatter ever major category as a wideout for this team....to a degree that puts him in consideration for greatest wideout in the NFL currently...and a top 5 wideout maybe all time....Ryan is a great QB, but is in the top 5 of the NFL maybe in any given season, not routinely considered the best.

Ryan is the greatest QB of all time by a wide margin in Falcons history though

Indeed. Getting harder to dispute that take with every season he completes.

Yea, for a Mt. Rushmore I'd probably go Ryan, Julio, Tuggle, and Roddy.

But in terms of just individual talent, I'd do something like Julio, Deion, Humphrey, and Rison

Will they do Julio Jones, like they done Roddy White???? Have they got any money left after giving Matty Choke that 150 million?

Who is Matty Choke?

LOL what type of glue are you sniffing.

Roddy White fell off and was let go. Noticed how he never played another game with another team. If he had anything left someone would have signed him.

Ryan is probably the most significant. But in terms of skill at the position, Julio is better.

Agreed... QBs are obviously more valuable to teams than WRs, and Matt Ryan is a great one but there are clearly several other QBs in the league that are as good or better than Matt. That is definitely not the case with Julio. The only three WR are comparable in talent are Brown, OBJ, and Nook and out of all of them only Nook is not a complete headcase. When it comes to leadership, talent, production, consistency and over-all impact on the field Julio is on a class all by himself.

That guy they want to call Matty Ice, but it is really Matty Choke. He can't win in BIG situations. He choke's-up.

LOL you're so slow that you didn't understand he was mocking you for misspelling Matty.
