It’s a bad idea for Dan Quinn, shaky game manager, to add to his Falcons duties

We need to introduce a new role called "Game Management Coach" or something like that, that has full authority over things like timeouts, challenges - maybe even offensive pacing/hurry up and help feed our OC when to go to the 4 minute/2 minute sheet, etc.

I agree.  You need a math savant who understands football rules.  Put a headset on him and let him advise.

He has an Assistant Head Coach: Raheem Morris

Fat lot of good he did if he was supposed to help with game management.

I meant someone to actual handle those specific duties. If that was in Raheem's job description then he should have been fired as well.

Raheem Morris was terrible in Tampa. They were in driver seat to make plays offs in 2010. Screwed up towards end of the season and GB got in to playoffs.

I actually think it will allow him to keep a better feel of what’s actually going on in the game.  Sometimes I feel like Quinn is out there like a lost puppy.  Calling plays will keep him engaged.

The bolded says it’s a smart move.  Play to our strengths.  Quinn is gifted at calling a defense but struggled with in-game decisions.  Why would we want to remove his greatest asset just to work on a weakness.  Have Morris assume more game day responsibility as Assistant Head Coach.  But Quinn’s defensive prowess is an asset.  Use it

Boy do I look completely stupid with this take...lol.

I never wanted Manuel fired, but once it was done, I really thought Quinn as DC was the proper move
