He has to play more in control and cut down on the turnovers. When he does that, he can provide value when excelling on the defensive end.

Tonight was one of his better games. He is still growing. He can get there. I believe in him.

Yeah Dennis is salty but the Hawks had to move on!!

He must have been extra salty seeing Trae drop dimes and deep threes on em.

Looks like this starting lineup could cause problems.

PG: Young

SG: Huerter

SF: Prince

PF: Collins

C: Len (I prefer him because he's more physical and lethal in the pick n roll)

facts. People forget even though this is Bembry's 3rd year, Bud never played him his rookie year and his sophomore year was riddled with injuries. He has the ability to be something special as a defender, ball handler, and slasher. He can get to the basket with ease, he just struggles to finish at times.

Yeah Kevin at the 2 is great and Len is definitely more physical.  Team is definitely starting to play inspired basketball which bodes well for the future.  By the way JC is our mini superstar right now!

That dude vanished like a fart in the wind. Claimed Dorsey was better than Bembry.

And we should get two more starter quality guys in June.

I've always been a fan. Thought he would break out last year. Needs to cut down the TOs and finish his drives better.

Hawks could be without Collins, Young vs. Celtics

By

John Collins and Trae Young are listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against the Celtics, as illness could lead the Hawks without their two young stars.

Collins is listed with bronchitis-type symptoms and Young is listed with flu-like symptoms ahead of the home matchup.

Collins is averaging 19.1 points and 10.4 rebounds in 28 games this season. The starting power forward has had a double-double in 17 games. Young is averaging 16.0 points and 7.2 rebounds. The rookie point guard has he has appeared in all 44 games.

The Hawks (14-30) are 8-7 in their last 15 games as the host the Celtics (26-18).

The Hawks could get Dewayne Dedmon back. The starting center is listed as probable with a left ankle sprain that has kept him out of the past two games.

Hawks trying to play themselves out of the lottery...   Anyway, I hit on the Huerter pick. I knew he was gonna be good and I predict him to be a Allstar eventually.  Young is still learning but has gotten better. Spellman will be fine once he leaves dunkin donuts alone.   The only problems I have out of the rotation players are Dedmon and Bembry's inconsistency.   Dedmon plays on the perimeter too much for my liking. I know some of it is by design.  Bembry is a poor man's Bazemore.  The Hawks will be fine.  Would love to add a lottery pick to this group though...
