Tandy
I want the Falcons to win every single game they are in. Every game. New England picks late every year - and they do well in the picks they make for the most part. Looking back from 2008 until 2018 - I will show the 7th pick, 14th pick - and some names picked after the 14th pick by year. Tribal Chief
Been making posts since last week when I was told that once in a generation star is in the top 10. Not always the case. 14 of the top 20 leading pass rushers this season are outside of the top 10 with 1 being undrafted. It's never about draft position, it's about the player. No one knows how good any player will be nor can they predict career threatening injuries. Not a single analyst or "expert" can tell you anything about what a player can do in the NFL. Players slide beyond their predicted spot every year
octoslash
Didn't 31 teams pass on Tom Brady....SIX TIMES? Wasn't he #200 or something?
Absolute
We just have to get the right guy for our situation. The pick position shouldn't matter...

DogIsYourName
I mean, your chances of getting the right player go up when you get to select before the other teams do. We fell 7 SPOTS based on yesterday's win. It doesn't mean we aren't going to get some great players. It just makes that more difficult. Think about Alabama and UGA getting nothing but 4-5 star recruits -- it doesn't mean they'll all be great, but is sure helps your odds! etherdome
Wow, this subject has been beaten to death. I prefer to picker higher. You have more choices. But hey, it is what it is. Let's make the best choices and all will fall into place.
