DownvoteDon
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/rec_yds_career.htm 1) Julio Jones is now closer to Larry Fitzgerald, who is SECOND all-time in career receiving yards than, than Fitzgerald is to #1, Jerry Rice. 2) Julio Jones is now fortieth (40th!) on the all time receiving yards rankings. The gap between 1 and 2 is more than the gap between 2 and 40 3) Jerry Rice is a freak.
Stryka
Julio is still as fast and strong as he has ever been. I hope he and Ryan get a Lombardi to go with all the milestones they will pass as they continue to play
Jesus
When he retired Rice owned every receiving record. He still has most of them. There is no one at any other position who was even close to that. And to think he missed a whole season in his prime with an Achilles injury. falcons007
Jerry Rice was knocking off 1000 yard receiving seasons at 40. It’s hard to beat his durability.
FalconsIn2012
You’d take Julio’s 1st 10 seasons over Rice’s first 10. It will be the final 10 years by Rice that is tough to match Edited December 30, 2018 by Falconsin2012
The O.D.B
Jerry played for like 20 years, I don't think anyone's catching him. I have no idea how Rice's skinny 3% body fat frame could hold up that long. They discussed JJ a few games back and he was like 10k yards from Rice. PriMeTiiMe
10,700 yards in essentially 7 seasons. (Missed 17 games in 8 seasons) Thats a 1,500/yr pace. Insane. Even with the lost season from injury games its 1,300/yr

The next 3 seasons he will be ahead of the pace (probably around 1,500 yards each season) but then when he's 34, there could be a huge drop-off. It's the TD difference that stands out but Julio is yardage and reception beast.
