Glad we won those last 3 games. That's equivalent to a superbowl, right?

This is actually a perfect example of why tanking is pointless. Going back, he may not have even been a top 5 pick.

You do understand we won't even be in position to draft a Vic Beasley this draft right?

You know that there are HOF players that get drafted outside of the top 10, right?

Yes, and those statistics are working against us with TD's draft history and our draft position..

Only fans talk about tanking. It's a stupid thing. It's something that the same stupid person starts about the same stupid thing over and over and over. It doesn't happen.

I dunno. Those Jarrett, Neal, Jones and Kazee guys have looked mighty good.

Jarrett maybe, I still dont believe Neal or kazee have done enough to be labeled as stand outs against other competitors in the league

i couldnt agree more. The falcons history is riddled with losing seasons and moral victories, but i suppose thats whats come to be realization. Those 10 spots or so are huge, but rest assured we can carry the "momentum" into next year.

The Falcs CAN carry the momentum into next season, I tell ya. That's how momentum works, see? Everybody knows this!

Bro  . . . the Cleveland Browns TANKED just last season for the #1 pick. Remember when the Colts sucked for Luck? That also happened. But the Falcs are on a big win streak.

And we traded up for players like Julio. What in the world does that have to do w/ anything? You are speaking as if the draft is a guarantee rather than the crap-shoot it really is. Finishing this season on a high-note is a positive.

Well if we tanked this season,  we wouldn't have to trade up for players we thought were good. Making we don't have to lose draft picks.

Clowney has become a great player after he returned from his injury.

So define tanking? Playing rookies and third stringers like the browns did? That’s called evaluating players. That team btw had very little talent and as you know-no Chubb or mayfield. Make their great QB that year?

the suck for luck year included no Peyton Manning and a guy named Curtis painter was QB.

thats not tanking. That’s called no talent in one case (Browns) and no QB and loss of longtime leader in the other (colts).

both played hard btw despite their shat seasons.

have any of you tankers actually played competitive sports on any level?

And the Browns are again not in the playoffs and the colts have the lowest seed. It's really helped put them in a SB. / sarcasm

The Browns didn't tank lol. They were bad. And the Colts lost MVP and future Hall of Fame QB for an entire year. That had more to do with them losing than tanking.

I believe Donald, Mack, Lewan, OBJ, DeMarcus Lawrence, Zack Martin and potentially Mike Evans would all go before him in a re-draft

You say lowest seed as if they have no chance.

Not sure what you guys want.  The Falcons coaches and players to say sorry that they could only lose 9 games instead of 10-12?

Was fun to watch wins. Don't care about draft position.

Sure was, at least I was not happy how they played in the first half.  I can’t imagine being a Falcons fan and being excited about the first half thinking yes we are going to lose this one.
