Cam Newton isn't half the QB that Ryan is

Forget Cam, imagine being on a 4 game losing streak to the Saints with one game still to go in a 2 year time frame.

That should get any Falcon coach fired on the spot.

I understand he's injured, but Riverboat ought to be fired for being stupid.  You put the player on the field that gives you the best chance to win.  Cam can't hit the broadside of a barn.  He'd probably throw it across the roof.  Shame Carolina lost a game just because the HC didn't want to put a backup in who could pass the ball.  These HCs don't always put the best players on the field for whatever reason.

Cam took a serious shot to the head in the 1st qtr that was a nasty stunt. The Taint player should have been ejected over it.

A good running QB will never have the success that a good pocket passer does. They rely on their legs so much that they never fine tune their passing skills.

The Falcons 1st, 2nd, 3rd and TE have more targets than the leading Panthers WR target. Cam is a lousy one dimensional QB who's best completion percentage season is smoke and mirrors (110 targets to your RB, 94 receptions in other words, dump passes). Film will expose you in the NFL and teams have started playing defense in a box vs the Panthers. You see the results.

I heard Cam may not play this week.  That Ron Rivera has to check in with Cam to see where he is at "mentally & physically"

This is why I LOVE our QB, MR2...   Even thru everything, he is mentally strong.

Imagine if you have to check in with your QB to see how he's doing "mentally" this week???

Cam’s a better QB than most falcon fans are willing to admit, but he’s not Matt Ryan. Neither are 3/4 of the other NFL QBs.

I've come to appreciate his game over the years. He does a few things almost no other QB can do. Plus anybody who can take the ridicule over his wardrobe like that and still trot out those hats he wears is A-OK in my book.

 

I'll never 'like' him much while he's a Panty, but I can't just hate him.
