Please elaborate

to be humble is to pretty much have nothing, turn cheek, lower self esteem lower self importance. Humans have acts of humbleness but never really humble, practically have to live like jesus to be humble. Also people encourage folks to be humble to feel better about themselves and to feel comfortable.

Sorry man.. you misunderstand what it means to be humble.. it’s not to think less of yourself, it’s to think more of others..

It is not humility itself that is good or bad but what the opposite of humility does to one's life that gravitates moral opinions towards the need to be humble. ... People often mistake Humility for Weakness, being a push over. Humility is the realization that we are only human, and in an instant, it can end.

Oh boy!...Fields' camp trying to get his hardship waiver by claiming the Sasser incident prevented him from playing baseball at UGA.  GTFO with that horse hockey.

https://sports.yahoo.com/justin-fields-eligibility-will-college-footballs-biggest-offseason-storyline-211837092.html

Mars has proven his chops in high-profile college sports cases, ending Hugh Freeze’s tenure at Ole Miss by exposing an infamous call to an escort through dogged public record requests. More relevant to this case, Mars was on the frontline of getting six Ole Miss transfers eligible last year, including Shea Patterson at Michigan and Van Jefferson transferring within the SEC to Florida.

The case for Justin Fields’ eligibility is a compelling one, as it hinges on a racial incident and, potentially, Fields’ potential as a professional baseball player. During Fields’ tenure at Georgia, a baseball player allegedly shouted racial slurs toward him during a September game against Tennessee. The player, Adam Sasser, later issued an apology on Twitter and the school threw Sasser off the team.

The incident is relevant for more than the general ugliness of it. Fields was considered a potential high-round Major League Baseball draft pick in high school, and he’d thought enough about a career in baseball that he was considered a potential MLB draft pick. He also considered playing baseball at Georgia. An MLB scout gave this scouting report to Yahoo Sports in 2017: “Similar situation as Jameis Winston when he was in high school. He’s a better overall athlete and runner for sure, but [Fields’] baseball skills are behind due to all the time he gives to football.”

While Fields put a focus on football, baseball always lingered as a potential option. While he’d yet to exercise that option at UGA, that potential avenue always existed. That means Mars has a strong argument that Fields would never be comfortable playing baseball at UGA, even with Sasser gone from the team.

The NCAA statute that Fields will file his waiver request under will likely claim a “mitigating circumstance” that directly impacts his “health, safety and well-being” to obtain the transfer. The racial element of the case, which the NCAA would be queasy to defend publicly if it rejected Fields’ waiver, combined with the potential baseball revenue aspect make it a case that few can envision the NCAA rejecting.

Dead to me. And also anyone else that supports Fields after attempting to tarnish the reputation of UGA for personal gain.

And while we are on the subject of that upstanding new school and coach of his...

This is going to end well :yikes:

I'm sorry but that's going pretty low by Fields and family. UGA couldn't have handled the situation any better. The fact that his sister is playing softball at UGA is all the reason the NCAA needs to deny this waiver.

I won't be surprised if the waiver is granted no matter how ridiculous this is. If Fields does receive his waiver I'll tune into OSU games just to watch him ride the pine. This guy and his family have done nothing but tarnish UGA over the last month. Over him.

Even though I am a Bama fan, graduated from there and my son is there now, I grew up a Bulldog fan. Whole family went to GA, father played there, every brother, sister, aunt, uncle, and aunt went there.

I love GA and if Fields trys to drag the program thru the mud over this BS, I will be seriously pissed!

I hope he doesn't get away with it! What a loser if he try a pull this crap!
