14. Jake Matthews, Atlanta Falcons

2018 Overall Grade: 80.6

Matthews is having the kind of season GM’s dream about when they lock up a key player long term. It’s been a career year by a good margin for the left tackle in pass protection, as he’s on pace to allow 15 fewer pressures than he did last year.

18. Alex Mack, Atlanta Falcons

2018 Overall Grade: 74.9

After a dominant first two seasons in Atlanta, the 33-year old Mack’s play has slipped a bit this season. He’s still a top-5 center in the league, though, even if it’s not that level of play we’ve come to expect.

Boy the other 3 around them must really suck if Mack & Matthews grade out that well...

They do. Pretty sure they're all outside the top 50 just at their POSITION, let alone compared to other OL

Shows you how bad this OL really is, Mack and Jake were absolutely terrible this year but they were our best lineman.

They were not bad at all.  The guys next to them suck *** and they were trying to clean up their messes, often at the expense of their primary assignment

Mack had so many crucial calls this year and alot of dts were pushing him back. Jake, what can i say?? He hasnt been elite this year. The pressure from dlineman and lbs came from everywhere tbh

Which is exactly what PFF is saying. Neither have been horrible though.

surprising that there are no Ten Titans on that list.  I was expectin to see Lewan up there, but apparently Jake has outperformed him.

of course the saints have two in the top 6 OL.  no way Breeze would survive with out lines over the years.

Jake has been par with likes of Tyron smith and others for  last 3 years. Hate for him on these boards was dense.

2 holds that cost us 6 points in the superbowl will do that. Without those holds were the 2016 champs.

There were many more plays which cost big time in SB.

Thats because mack has trash playing around him. He cant save them every play.

Jake has to be the most ‘hated for no reason’ playernon the team...even more than Ryan.

Jake has never been terrible, and this year he is playing at a PB level.

People remember his rookie season when he was hurt and had to switch to LT late just before the start of the season.

is there a complete listing out there somewhere?

Yes, I would love to see it.

Ryan Schraeder ranks 4 from the bottom in pass blocking among T.   Only Davenport (HOU), Miller (OAK) and Hart (CIN) are worse than him.

Jake and Mack haven't been terrible. The players around them have been terrible. That's how bad those other 3 are. That they've made an offensive line with two really good players on it look awful

He’s always been average or so, which isn’t what a 6th overall pick should be. Add to that his mistakes in the SB. But for some reason we have the least clutch o-line in history, as it seems they always choke and allow a big sack or penalty at the most crucial moments. And Matt is definitely the most hated for no reason. We’ve got a serious contender for being in the HoF and and MVP QB yet people are still *****ing and wanting him gone when they know **** well how garbage this franchise was before he came along.
