Summerhill
With the extreme likelihood the Falcons are looking at picking in the top 10 of the 2019 draft, they'll have a big decision whether to keep the pick and hope to select an impact player or trade down 2-3 times to significantly increase the quality of the team's depth. I'm going to assume the Falcons pick #8 and project a few picks. Here are the two scenarios: Impact player #8: DT: I'm not going to project a Hall of Fame player like Aaron Donald but let's say a very good player like Fletcher Cox. #40: RT: Let's say a solid immediate starter like Justin Pugh. #72: G/C: Let's say someone like Ben Jones Depth #23: G: Someone like Joel Bitonio #40: RT: Justin Pugh #53: DT: Someone like Jarran Reed #72: G/C: Ben Jones #74: LB: Someone like Nigel Bradham #78: CB: Someone like Bashaud Breeland Needless to say some of these picks are going to be busts and some could be home runs but I'm trying to temper expectations by naming solid but unspectacular players. VTCrunkler
This is going to need someone like Ozzie Newsome to pull that off.. id rather go for the Depth option.
