LT Andre Dillard #60 Wash St

26 posts in this topic

The Athletic's Dane Brugler believes Washington State T Andre Dillard is "deserving of first-round consideration."

Dillard (6'5/310) currently sits as the No. 5 offensive tackle prospect on Brugler's top-10 positional rankings behind Jonah Williams, Cody Ford, Greg Little, and Jawaan Taylor. Dillard has tons of experience -- he's a redshirt senior -- and was largely responsible for pass protection in Mike Leach's pass-first offense. Currently sitting on the first-round and second-round borderline, Dillard's combine measurements will be key in his evaluation.

Check out @zach_goodall’s Tweet:

If Deiters a first rounder whoever takes him that early should be fired.Seriously just about every rep I’ve seen during the drills this guy has been beat like a drum.

Dillard playing himself into the first round.  Deiter's apparent lack of functional strength shocking

It’s all Wisconsin OL...they don’t play in space and they get benefit of combo blocks...it’s a clear difference in talent for TE next level due to the product of the offense...

Dillard will be a much better pass protector and he can gain the functional strength needed along with having good technique.

he would make a great 2nd round pick.

he may not be there at 14 now, but he is a Left tackle prospect

I'd take him at 14 and put him at RT. Have two OTs who can hold their own vs the best pass rushers.

Dillard may be the best pass protector in the class, but Jawaan Taylor solidified himself as the best all round tackle for me yesterday. Can play left or right and easily slide inside and play guard if needed.

He'd be close to #1 on my short board.

Me and Coles World been umm good and arghing in discussion over Taylor or Ford.Ive tipped towards Taylor aswell. His only weakness is he plays a little high.Gets a way with it at college level but against nfl edge rushers yeah good luck.
