Carter
Winner of this game goes on to play Texas next week for the Big 12 championship. Oklahoma is great offensively but really terrible on defense. WVU is great offensively and at least decent on defense. We’ll have to see how this one plays out, could really be an exciting shootout type of game. WVU on the board first with a long 3rd down bomb from Grier to Sills. 7-0 after one possession. Carter
And Oklahoma goes right down the field on a long run by Kyler Murray. 7-7 after one possession by each team.
UAB_DAWG
I wonder if we'll see a stop this game outside of a turnover.
usmcdirtybird
West Virginia gets stopped on 4th and 6.

Bdawg58
Whoever has the ball last will win this game.. defense is optional lol
Carter
It’s always kinda tough to gauge Big 12 defenses because the offenses are designed so wide open. But yikes when the top teams play each other there is hardly any defense to speak of.
Carter
Oklahoma gets a big play on defense as a LB just blasts right through the right tackle and strip sacks Grier, then picks up the fumble and takes it in for 6.
mike teevee
The only problem I have gauging the defense is if they are completely terrible or just mostly terrible.

Carter
WVU gets a pick in the end zone. If they can put together a scoring drive here we will be tied up again. Fun game so far.
Carter
And just like that Grier hits another downfield bomb lol
mike teevee
I no longer have any doubt, these defenses are completely terrible.
Carter
This game is playing out a lot like that Rams/Chiefs game. Holy cow...

Carter
Another touchdown, another lead change. Was fun for a while but now it’s just boring. Receivers are wide open and the tackling on run plays is just atrocious. Monday night this was called one of the best NFL games ever. fibonaccisquared
After the ninth total touchdown against air, it just starts to get silly. I'd rather watch Gday frankly. That penalty was kinda weird. Seems like given that it was unrelated to the play at that point it should not have been from the spot. fibonaccisquared
Huge mistake... From first and goal inside the five yard line to giving up a scoop and score from midfield. Carter
WVU got hosed on that penalty assessment. Stupid decision by the WR to block the guy like that though... he was looking down as they went out of bounds and started to disengage, then kept going when the defender pushed back at him. Just dumb. But a horrible assessment on the penalty.
Carter
Oklahoma wins it 59-56 OU will not do much if they end up in the playoff against teams that actually play defense AND good offense.
tl;dr
Every time I watch Will Grier play, I'm not super impressed. He makes some good throws, but he has several really poor decisions that I don't get at all. Seems like he fumbles a lot as well.
Billy Ocean
I'd like to see Oklahoma make the playoffs. Unless UGA makes the playoffs, too. Because I'd much rather face Michigan, Notre Dame, or Ohio State than Oklahoma. They've got a historically great offense, and I can't even imagine how good they'd be if star running back Rodney Anderson was healthy. Lol at your avatar - Walt Goggins grew up in my hometown of Douglasville, GA. My wife knows him. Good guy.
