Julio presser

Julio is helping this team by not catching TDs so everyone else can get easy TDs.  His selflessness does shows up in the stat column as 0 TD.   We need more guys who aren't scoring so that the remaining guys can score more easily!

That is true but its becoming a long-running joke in the NFL media about him not able to catch TD passes, and he is "Elite". Its just the Weirdest thing ever that he cannot ever get open in the End Zone for a WR of his caliber. I dont care i guess... as long as he gets triple teamed and opens up other WRs ... but its just odd.

Exactly, being 1st in PPG means that we don’t need him catching TD’s because we’re already at the pinnacle of scoring. Can’t get any better. If he scored TD’s it might knock us down off the throne

That's right -- if Julio starts scoring points, these other guys won't score enough points!

Y’all 11th in scoring offense tho? Not sure where that 1st is coming from.

But yeah, Alabama going to smash LSU for an 8th straight game.

It makes sense if you watch him.  He is the best in the league at winning at the top of his route.  That's where he creates separation.

In the red zone there is no top of the route.  You have to use pacing and find pockets.  That's what Ridley excels at.

You can't just take off into the endzone because you are running in to coverage.   Sometimes you gotta slow jog, then explode into a pocket.  It seems as though this is julio's weakness. Probably his only one.

It's crazy how many teams are putting up mad points this year. The PPG the Falcons have right now would have been 5th last year. The team that finished 11th in scoring last year averaged 22.9 PPG, where the Falcons are averaging 27.1.

This is the year of the shootout in the NFL.

MNF Fumble:  Julio was guarded by 3 players.

Two next to him, and a safety on the way.

That's why I'm not so excited about the "success" of Sark and Ryan.

They should have destroyed The Giants here

If you watch NFL Replay of that fumble, you will see the truth.

Local Radio personalities, comedians, voices - do not research or really watch games.

I hope this is sarcastic? JJ needs to actually score TD's especially if he is going to be demanding huge top 2 WR money int he NFL. His last regular season TD was almost a year ago. You want to be the best? You want to be payed like the best? You can't go an entire years worth of regular season games without a TD. That would be like saying Vic is the best pass rusher this year even though he only has 1 sac

Exactly.  We've been pretty good about Julio not scoring, and that has really helped the team.  Maybe if we'd just stop trying to get yards from Julio also we'd be unstoppable!

It certainly is indeed. Bad year for us to have a half-busted secondary and y'all to have an injury riddled one. :argh:
